1. Ceramic anilox rolls, like chrome-plated anilox rolls, can cause ink clogging, so they must be cleaned after use. It is recommended to use a stainless steel brush for cleaning. The anilox roller is thoroughly cleaned by ultrasonic cleaning after half a year to one year to remove the ink remaining in the bottom of the cell. Regularly check and verify the cell volume to ensure that the anilox roller is in a stable state.
2. Ceramic anilox rolls are more resistant to wear than chrome-plated anilox rolls, but the ceramic coating on the roll surface is very thin and the cells are very small, which can cause permanent damage if bumped. Therefore, when installing or disassembling the anilox roller, care should be taken to prevent the surface of the anilox roller from being scratched by other metals and other objects.
3. For the ceramic coating on the surface of the anilox roll, it will not rust itself, but because the ceramic coating has a flat structure of flat particles, it is a porous, water-like liquid that may penetrate the base of the coating. The roller is rusted, thereby breaking the bonding strength between the ceramic coating and the base roller, and affecting the printing quality. Therefore, when the anilox roller is not used, the cleaned anilox roller should be kept in a dry state.
