There are many notable details in the prepress design process for flexible packaging. Here, we will focus on the small text and line design considerations.

(1) Small text and lines should be designed as a single package to avoid misalignment of multi-color overprinting. The width of the thin lines should not be less than 0.1mm, otherwise it is easy to lose or the strokes are unclear during printing. The net height of Chinese fonts is not less than 1.8mm, and the net height of English fonts is not less than 1.5mm.

(2) The anti-white text should pay special attention to the design. If the text is small, especially when the stroke is fine, use monochrome. The choice of fonts should also pay attention to the fact that the round body, the black body, and the line body are the better choices, while the fonts of the Song style, the old Song body (the horizontal and vertical vertical and thick) and the strokes are too different, so be careful when designing. When using such a font, it should be noted that the net height of the Chinese font is not less than 2.5 mm, and the net height of the English font is not less than 2 mm. Warm stamp

Poor printing overprinting: The ink printed on the back of the wet-on-wet overprint cannot be smoothly attached to the first printed ink.

The reason:

(1) The ink of the post-printed ink is too viscous compared to the ink that is printed first.

(2) The ink that is printed first is slow to fix and the amount of ink is large.

(3) The color intensity balance of the four-color ink is not appropriate.

Approach:

(1) Printing with high-viscosity ink and printing with low-viscosity ink. The ideal viscosity requirement should be reduced in the order of overprint color.

(2) The ink printing with fast fixation is adopted, and the density is printed to be thinner, and the pattern area is small and printed first, so as to facilitate overprinting.

(3) The color intensity of any set of wet multi-color overprinting inks is balanced. The same amount of ink can be used for overprinting. If it is not printed with the same set of inks, it should be handled properly.
