1. Clearly printed and printed
Before printing, first determine whether the printing method is print or print, and then determine the type of film, distinguish the corona treatment surface; determine the type of plate cylinder (reverse or genuine); use different types of thinner for the ink.
2. Determine the appropriate temperature and humidity
If the temperature in the printing workshop is too high and the humidity is too high, the printed matter may become sticky. Decoloration, color shift, adhesion, poor firmness, etc., in severe cases, the ink will be decomposed and printed. If the workshop is too dry, in the case of fast printing speed, static electricity will be generated, so that the ink will move upstream of the film, and in the case of slow printing speed, the print will be dull and dry. Paste and other phenomena. Generally, the temperature of the printing workshop is controlled at 18-25 ° C, and the relative humidity is controlled at 55% to 75%.
3. Plate cylinder positioning should be balanced
The balance of the plate cylinder depends on the printing machine and the plate-making roll, which is also affected by the installation. Be sure to determine the position of each plate cylinder when installing and install it securely. The position of the plate cylinder is determined by the length of the alignment plate and the plate cylinder on the plate cylinder. For plate cylinders without keyways, the screws must be tightened.
4. The pressure of the impression cylinder should be appropriate
If the impression cylinder is not flat, there will be leakage, uneven coloring, etc.; if the pressure of the impression cylinder is too large, the printed pattern will be ghosted, unclear, dull, etc.; if the pressure of the impression cylinder is too small, it will appear shallow. The mesh part is not colored. The text is not clear and so on. A high-quality impression cylinder should be used to adjust the pressure of the impression cylinder during printing.
5. Adjustable blade angle
The angle between the scraper and the plate cylinder is generally controlled at 45-65°, which is further adjusted according to the depth of the cell and the printing speed. When adjusting, please pay attention to the distance between the scraper and the embossing roller should match the printing speed. At the same time, it is necessary to give the scraper the proper pressure. The size of the blade pressure can be adjusted according to the depth of the plate of the printing plate, the order of overprinting, and the like.
6. Good work viscosity adjustment
To adjust the working viscosity of the ink, on the one hand, the printing speed should be considered, the printing speed should be fast, and the quick-drying thinner should be selected; the printing speed should be slow, and the slow-drying thinner should be selected. On the other hand, in the printing process, the volatilized diluent is replenished in time, preferably mixed with the ink and added to the ink fountain to ensure the consistency of the printed matter.
7. Tension control must be strict
In order to facilitate printing, increase the printing speed, and the gravure printing machine. The magnetic powder tension control system is installed at the blanking point to automatically control the tension. Some high-end gravure presses have also installed computer tracking and automatic control systems in various color groups. For presses that do not have a computer color registration system, the tension of each color set is adjusted manually. The adjustment speed and tension should be considered comprehensively.
8. Drying system must be matched
The drying system affects the speed of the gravure press. From single oven to double oven and multi-purpose oven, drying tunnel, no matter which kind of drying system, its main function is the same, one is to increase the speed of the printing machine, the other is to improve the adhesion fastness of the ink on the surface of the film, so that the diluent in the ink is thoroughly Dry, prevent false ones, causing odor after back sticking or bag making. Therefore, the drying system should match the speed of the printing press, and then adjust the oven temperature and air volume according to the size of the pattern on the printed matter.
