Photoshop is almost the most commonly used software for both our daily life and prepress production. Due to the working relationship, Photoshop is a must-have software every day, and it has constantly explored some experiences and tricks from practice. Now introduced to everyone, I hope to be inspired by the reader.

1. When you want to change the spacing between two characters, place the cursor between two characters. Use alt+lift or alt+right to change the spacing between the two characters. When you want to change the character spacing of several characters, just select the character and use the left and right arrow keys while holding down ctrl and alt to change the spacing of the characters.

2, use the shortcut keys to quickly browse the big picture: home, scroll to the top left corner of the picture; end, scroll to the bottom right corner of the picture; pageup, scroll to the top of the image; pagedown, scroll to the top of the image Below; ctrl+pageup, scroll to the far left of the image; ctrl plus pagedown, scroll to the far right of the image.

3, want to move the current layer up, use ctrl+], you can raise the current layer layer; press Ctrl+[, you can move the current layer down.

4. a color image into a gray image, there are two ways to achieve, one is to convert the RGB mode directly into gray, one is to convert RGB into LAB, and then throw away the A, B channel, Only the brightness channel is preserved; it has been proved that the latter performs more delicately on the dark portion of the image, and the image darkness information is less lost.

5. When it is necessary to adjust the tone or contrast of the image, first convert the image with only the independent layer into a 16-bit channel, then adjust it, and then convert it back to the 8-bit channel after the adjustment, so that the image can be The loss of information is minimized and the effect is much better than direct adjustment.

6. When the pattern to be picked out is complicated or has a very messy background, consider using the extraction in the filter. Closed image, fill and response settings in the dialog box will make the drawn pattern very accurate. After determining and using the history tool to make appropriate adjustments, you will get an ideal independent image, which can even help. We pulled out a fluffy kitten on the grass.

7. To use the filter you just used again, select Filter → Last Filter [Ctrl+F] from the menu; use the new option to use the filter you just used to add an Alt key ( Ctrl+Alt+F or Alt + Filter → Last Filter ).

Tip: To retreat from the last used filter or adjustment (or change the composition mode), press Ctrl+Shift+F ( Filter → Fade Filter... ).

8. If you have recently copied a picture in the clipboard, Photoshop will use the size of the image in the clipboard as the default size of the new image when creating a new file [Ctrl+N] ( File → New...). To skip this feature and use the last setting, hold down the Alt key [Ctrl+Alt+N] ( Alt + File → New... ) while it is open.

9. Press Ctrl+Alt+Z and Ctrl+Shift+Z to back and forth in the history (or use the menus in the History panel to use these commands). Use the restore [Ctrl+Z] ( Edit → Undo ) command to use these hot keys to freely switch between history and current state.

10. The Alt+Backspace and Ctrl+Backspace key combinations are filled with the foreground and background colors. Another very useful hotkey is Shift+Backspace, which opens the fill dialog.

Tip: Press Alt+Shift+Backspace and Ctrl+Shift+Backspace to fill only the existing pixels (keep transparent areas) when filling the foreground and background colors.

11. While holding down the Alt key ( Ctrl+Alt+T or Alt + Edit → Free Transform ) while using the Free Transform tool [Ctrl+T] ( Edit → Free Transform ), you can copy the original layer first (in the current selection). Then transform on the copy layer.

Hint: Ctrl+Shift+T ( Edit→ Transform →Again ) to execute the last transformation again, Ctrl+Alt+Shift+T( Alt + Edit→ Transform→ Again ) to copy the original image and then perform the transformation.

12. To prevent the use of the crop tool [C] ( Crop Tool ), the frame is attached to the border of the picture. Hold down the Ctrl key while dragging the control point on the crop tool box.

13. To correct the tilted image, first use the measuring tool [U] to draw a line (such as the border of the image, the door frame, the horizontal line between the eyes, etc.) on the map as a horizontal or vertical reference, and then from the menu. Select Image → Rotate Canvas → Arbitrary. When you open it, you will find that the correct rotation angle has been filled automatically. Just press OK to confirm.

Note: You can also use the crop tool to complete the rotation and cutting work in one step: first draw a box with the crop tool [C], drag the control points on the box to adjust the angle and size of the marquee, and finally press Enter to achieve rotation and cutting.

Tip: The angle measured by the measurement tool is also automatically filled in the Digital Transform Tool ( Edt → Transform → Numeric) dialog box.

14. Use the "Create new layer [Ctrl+J] (Layer → New → Layer Via Copy)" or "Create a new layer [Ctrl+J] (Layer → New → Layer Via Cut)" command in one step. Complete copy & paste and cut & paste work.

Note: By copying (cutting) the new layer commands are still placed in their original place when pasted, but they are pasted to the center of the image (or selection) by copying (cutting) & pasting.

15. Crop the image (using the crop tool or select Edit → Crop) and all pixels outside the cropping range will be lost. To crop without loss, you can use the "Image → Canvas Size" command instead. Although Photoshop will warn you that some cuts will be made, for some reason it doesn't actually -- all "cut" data is kept out of the picture.

Hint: ImageReady's cut command ( Image → Crop ) asks if you want to delete the cut area or hide it.

Note: This does not work for indexed color mode (using the canvas size command in index mode will lose pixels outside the screen).

16. When merging visible layers, hold down the Alt key [Ctrl+Alt+Shift+E] ( Alt + Layer → Merge Visible ) to copy all visible layers and merge them into the current layer.

Tip: You can also hold down the Alt key while merging the layer ( Layer → Merge Down ), copying the current layer and merging it into the previous layer. This command does not have a corresponding hotkey - Ctrl+Alt+E does not work.

17. When using the Marquee Tools, hold down the Shift key to draw a selection of squares and perfect circles; hold down the Alt key to delineate the selection from the starting point.

18. Use the "Reselect" command [Ctrl+Shift+D] ( Select → Reselect ) to load/restore the previous selection.

19. Press the Alt key while using the lasso tool to sketch the selection to switch between the lasso tool and the polygonal lasso tool.

20. Hold down the space bar while sketching the selection to move the selection you are sketching.

21. It is well known that holding down the Shift or Alt key can add or trim the current selection, but do you know that you can select the intersection of the two selections by pressing the Shift and Alt keys at the same time?

Tip: Hold down the Ctrl key and click on the layer's icon (on the Layers panel) to load its transparent channel, then hold down the Ctrl+Alt+Shift key and click on another layer to select the area where the two layers of transparent channels intersect.

22. Switch to the Quick Mask mode [Q] between zooming or copying the picture to retain the original selection.

23. Hold down the Alt key while dragging the guide line to switch between the horizontal guide and the vertical guide. Hold down the Alt key and click on an existing vertical guideline to turn it into a horizontal guideline and vice versa.

Note: Guides are created by dragging them from the ruler, so make sure the ruler is open [Ctrl+R] (View → Show Rulers).

24. Hold down the Shift key while dragging the guides to force them to align to the scale on the ruler.

25. Double-click the guide to open the Guide & Style parameter settings dialog [Ctrl+K, Ctrl+6] ( File → Preferences → Guides & Grid... ).

26. Double-click the ruler [Ctrl+R] to open the Unit & Ruler parameter setting dialog [Ctrl+K, Ctrl+5] (File → Preferences → Units & Rulers... ).

Tip: You can also select the scale unit in the options menu on the information panel.

27, the coordinate origin of the ruler can be set anywhere on the canvas, as long as you drag from the upper left corner of the ruler to apply the new coordinate origin; double-click the upper left corner to restore the coordinate origin to the default point.

28. It is also a good idea to use the Path tool to create auxiliary lines for curves and slashes. Just use the pen tool to draw the path as a guideline when drawing or coloring (the path is always visible).

Tip: Use the hidden path command [Ctrl+Shift+H] (View → Hide Path) to toggle the path display.

29. The auxiliary line will not only be attached to the edge of the current layer or selection (up, down, left, and right), but will also be aligned horizontally or vertically (of the current layer or selection). The reverse is also true: the same selections and layers will also be attached to existing auxiliary lines (edges and centers).

Note: The guides will not snap to the background layer. And to achieve the above functions, first open the "Ctrl+Shift+;" (View → Snap To Guides) option.

Tip: To find the center of the screen you can create a new [Ctrl+Shift+N] (Layer → New Layer... ) and fill a layer with [Shift+Backspace] ( Edit → Fill... ) and then snap the guide to the vertical Center and level center.

30. To draw a line using the Brush tool, first click on the image, then move the mouse to another point and hold Shift and click on the image again. Photoshop will draw a line between the two points using the current drawing tool.

The color values before and after the change are displayed next to their sample point numbers on the information panel. The color mode of the sampling point can be defined by a pop-up menu on the information panel. To add a new sampling point, just click anywhere on the canvas (using the color sampler tool), hold down the Alt key and click to remove the sampling point.

Note: You can only place up to four color sampling points on a single image.

Tip: When there are dialog boxes in Photoshop (for example: level commands, curve commands, etc.) pop up, to add a new sample point, you must hold down the Shift key and click, hold down Alt+Shift and click on a sample point to subtract it. .

37. Measure Tool (Measure Tool) is very convenient to measure distance (especially on the oblique line), you can also use it to measure the angle (like a protractor). First make sure that the information panel [F8] (Window→ Show Info) is visible. Select the metric tool and click and drag a line. Hold down the Alt key and drag the second line from the node of the first line, so that the angle between the two lines and the length of the line are displayed on the information panel.

Note: You can move the measurement line by dragging with the measurement tool (you can also move only one node of the measurement line separately), and you can delete the measurement line by dragging it outside the canvas.

Note: If the cursor is set to the exact state in Photoshop's parameters [Ctrl+K, Ctrl+3] ( File → Preferences → Display & Cursors... ), the CapsLock key will not work.

47. Press the “F” key to switch between the three different screen modes of Photoshop (standard display mode → full screen display mode with menu → full screen display mode) (or you can use the button at the bottom of the toolbox).
