Yesterday, the public Mr. Hu called the hotline 96365 of the newspaper: online, there is a bakery, cake shop with "shoe box paper" to make wrapping paper. The so-called "shoe box paper" refers to a wrapper produced from recycled waste paper containing toxic substances. The aroma and scent, the bread and cake that look beautiful, and the outer packaging is actually the "shoe box paper" garbage paper. How can such a bread and cake be reassured? Is there such a situation in urban areas? He hopes that the reporter will investigate this.
Our reporter Xu Feng verified the report: With Mr. Hu’s question, the reporter visited a number of bakeries, cake shops and supermarkets in the city yesterday, and found that the outer packaging of bread and cake is still dominated by plastic paper, and less use of wrapping paper. .
However, few consumers know that the wrapping paper must also carry the QS logo.
Less plastic than paper
The reporter came to the “Mountain Baking” shop at the intersection of Shuanglong South Street and Binhong Road in the city. In addition to the “streaking” of the pastry in the refrigerator, all kinds of cakes were placed on the shelves, and they were sealed with plastic film. The clerk told the reporter that all the cakes in the store were packed in plastic food bags and never used wrapping paper.
In the Xinhua Street in the city, the other two pastry shops in the local area, “Fu” and “Meiran”, did not find paper-packed bread and cake.
In the "Mairan" store, the reporter saw a plastic packaging bag on the counter. Some customers came to buy bread. The salesperson used it with his hands. He took out the bread from the refrigerator with a clip and stuffed it into a plastic bag.
In the supermarket Tesco supermarket baking department, the reporter saw the bread taken out from the oven, wrapped in a layer of yellow-brown paper. According to the on-site baking salesperson, these are the desktop bread series, which are placed on the shelves and then wrapped in plastic bags.
In the urban Wal-Mart supermarket, the reporter only saw a long strip of bread wrapper, and the rest of the bread and cake were packed in plastic bags. The salesperson told reporters that this baguette is not packed in paper and is easy to return to the tide.
In the urban Futailong supermarket and Century Lianhua supermarket, the reporter found that the bread and cake packaging on the shelves were all in plastic bags, and no paper packaging was found.
Heavy lining
According to the regulations, all food packaging papers, including cellophane, must have the "QS" mark. Since September 1, 2009, following the addition of the QS mark on food plastic packaging, the state has begun to enforce the “QS access for food and paper packaging” standard. Products such as food paper packaging and food paper containers must be affixed with the QS mark. Can enter the market. As small as candy, ice cream, Chinese medicine pills, teabag packaging paper, as large as barbecue cooked food, foreign fast food paper packaging, and disposable paper cups, hamburger cartons, ice cream cups and other packaging, all have a shadow of QS. That is to say, when consumers purchase some foods, they should not only pay attention to whether the food has passed the QS certification, but also pay attention to whether the QS mark is printed on the paper packaging or paper container of the food.
However, the reporter's investigation found that most of the clerk and customer said that they did not know that food packaging also had QS certification. Aunt Wu said that she would pay attention to the price, brand and sale of the same factors when buying bread and cake. As for the wrapping paper, there is no QS mark. "How to say that the supermarket is always cleaner than the outside, and there is no QS mark and don't care."
The reporter also found that some bakeries and supermarkets have homemade cakes on the shelves. Although they are sealed with plastic film, they can't find the QS logo or any instructions on the production license for food packaging paper. There are also no QS signs in plastic bags.
At Tesco and Wal-Mart supermarkets, the reporter asked why there is no QS mark on the paper packaging of the bread. The salesperson said that there is no such paper, but there must be a QS certification mark on the paper-packing box.
However, some people in the industry said that baked goods are a big part of the food packaging industry. After the introduction of the "plastic limit order", the call for "representing paper by paper" is high, which is also an inevitable trend in the future. When buying food, the public should pay attention to whether the package of the purchased food has the QS mark.
