Nowadays, the society is fashionable to “shop around”, and customers usually let several printers offer at the same time. The same print quality, the same delivery date, and who is printing under the same conditions, who is printing low, is an indisputable fact. Therefore, whether or not an accurate quotation can be the key to obtaining an order. Among the cost of printed matter, paper is a well-deserved item. Among the production costs of enterprises, the proportion of paper costs is the largest, accounting for almost 50% of the total sales. So how can we quickly calculate the paper cost of printed matter?
The first step is to calculate the cost of a single sheet of paper.
Here, we use the formula to express: sheetfed cost = paper coefficient × paper weight / 100 × paper tons price / 10000
Among them, the paper coefficient is a fixed coefficient of each specification paper, such as the paper fixing coefficient of the large paper (889mm×1194mm) is about 1.06; the paper fixing coefficient of the positive paper (787mm×1092mm) is about 0.86; other special specifications Paper, such as 850mm × 1168mm paper fixing factor is about 1; 880mm × 1230mm paper fixing factor is about 1.08; 960mm × 1200mm paper fixing factor is about 1.15. It doesn't matter if these paper coefficients are unclear. It is actually an approximation of the paper's length (m) x width (m).
For example, a double-adhesive paper with a density of 80 grams, the paper price is 7,000 yuan / ton, and the cost of a single sheet of paper is about 0.594 yuan = 1.06 × 80 / 100 × 7000 / 10000.
The second step is to calculate the total number of papers.
Total number of papers = total printing / number of prints × number of pages / 2+ loss of paper. Among them, the number of loss-replenishing papers is generally obtained by multiplying the calculation result by the total amount of printing (printing number/printing number × page number/2) by a fixed ratio, which is not nearly the same for each company, and is approximately 5% to 10%. . In the following example, the ratio of the loss of the paper is assumed to be 10%.
For example, if you print 40,000 sheets and 16 sheets of sheet-fed instructions, the total number of sheets = 40000/16 × (1 + 10%) = 2500 × (1 + 10%) = 2750 sheets.
Another example: printing 5000 large 16 open instructions, the inner page is 24 pages, then the total number of inner pages = (5000 / 16 × 24 / 2) × (1 + 10%) = 3750 × (1 + 10%) = 4125.
The third step is to calculate the total cost of paper.
Total paper cost = total paper quantity × sheet paper cost
1. A simple print directly calculates the total cost of the paper.
For example, printing 20,000 copies of a large 16-page advertising leaflet, using 157 grams of coated paper (the price of 157 grams of coated paper is 7800 yuan / ton), calculate the total cost of paper.
The total cost of paper = 1375 × 1.298 = 1784.75 yuan.
2. Complex prints must first be disassembled into several parts, and then calculate the cost of each paper and then accumulate the total cost.
For example: printed 20,000 copies of the big 16 open advertising brochure, cover 200 grams of coated paper, 157 grams of coated paper on the inside (200 grams of coated paper price of 8,000 yuan / ton, 157 grams of coated paper price of 7800 yuan / Tons), page 12 of the inside, calculates the total cost of paper.
1 Calculate the cover part first:
The total cost of cover paper = 2750 × 1.696 = 4664 yuan.
2 Then calculate the inner page part:
The total cost of the inner page paper is 8250×1.298=10708.50 yuan.
3 Finally calculate the total cost of paper:
Total paper cost = total cost of cover paper + total cost of internal paper = 4664+10708.50=15372.50.
