Reason for transformation


In 2011, our company introduced the AGFA Advantage N-DLS-type violet laser newspaper CTP, and has been supporting the use of Gu Longyan plate-making machine. The equipment is in good condition.


According to the working principle of the violet laser newspaper CTP, after the printing plate enters the plate printing machine from the CTP, it needs to be preheated and solidified first, then enters the developing solution tank through the brush, and then the printing plate is washed out after the developing solution tank. , gluing, drying these processes, and finally produce the finished product. It can be seen that under normal conditions, the brush roller should be rotated in time to ensure that the film on the printing plate can be cleaned; the developer replenishing pump should be added in time when the developer is insufficient, and it is not necessary to add when the developer is sufficient.


However, in the past two months, Gu Longyan Rising Machine will have irregular failures such as brush roller rotation and developer replenishment pump uninterrupted work in this process, resulting in plate failure, resulting in plate waste and impact. The normal operation of production.


After troubleshooting the equipment, it was found that the reason for the failure of the Gulongyan plate-making machine was that the control circuit board was abnormal. The specific performance was that the output voltage of the control board was sometimes absent, which caused the function of the plate-making machine to be abnormal. In this regard, the usual solution is to replace the control board, but if you order the control board directly from the supplier, you need to ship from Europe, which requires a long period of time and high cost. To this end, we decided to design and install a control circuit to control the functions of the processor and restore it to normal.


Transformation process


The part of Gu Longyan's normal working state is temporarily not modified and continues to be used; an auxiliary circuit system is installed outside the circuit part where the fault occurs, that is, an electro-optical probe is installed at the entrance of the printing plate into the printing machine. The auxiliary circuit system is shown in Figure 1. 1(a) is a simplified circuit diagram of the auxiliary circuit system. The relays KA2 and KA3 are controlled by a pair of control contacts (normally open contacts: electrically closed, de-energized and disconnected), and delay relays JS1 and JS2. The control circuit is shown in Figure 1(b).


The working principle of the circuit is: when the photoelectric probe detects that the printing plate enters the plate printing machine, the photoelectric probe is closed, the relay KA1 is energized, the contacts 1 and 2 of the KA1 are closed, the relay KA2 is energized, and the contact 1 of the KA2 after the power is obtained 2, close and form a self-locking loop (guarantee that the relay KA2 can be continuously pulled after the contact of KA1 is disconnected after the KA1 is de-energized), at this time, the contacts 3 and 4 of the KA2 of the delay relay JS1 are controlled. Also in the closed state, JS1 starts counting down, while the contacts 1, 2 of the KA2 controlling the brush roller motor are closed, and the brush roller starts to work. After the brush roller rotates for 30s, the delay relay JS1 operates (the contacts 3 and 4 of KA2 are disconnected), the relay KA2 loses power, the contacts 1 and 2 of KA2 are disconnected, and the brush roller is no longer rotated.


The same principle, the developer replenishing pump is also after the photodetector is closed, the relay KA1 is energized, the contacts 1 and 2 of KA1 are closed, so that the relay KA3 is energized, and after the power is turned on, the contacts 1 and 2 of the KA3 are closed and form a self-locking loop. At this time, the contacts 3, 4 of the KA3 controlling the delay relay JS2 are also in the closed state, and the contacts 3, 4 of the KA3 for controlling the developer replenishing pump motor are closed, and the developer replenishing pump motor starts to work. After working for a period of time, the delay relay JS2 operates (contacts 3 and 4 of KA3 are disconnected), relay KA3 loses power, and the developer stops replenishing. The time during which the developer replenishes the pump can adjust the time of the delay relay JS2 according to the actual conditions of each machine.


In addition, the preheating section of the platen can also be controlled by adding a separate temperature controller with a temperature probe to maintain the preheating temperature at 137 °C. At the same time, the temperature overheat protection switch in the original circuit (shown by the red dashed box in Figure 2) can be used in series in the preheating section for continued use. After the temperature controller fails, the switch is automatically disconnected when the temperature of the electric heating tube exceeds 176 °C, thus protecting the safety of the equipment.


Through the above transformation, Gu Long Yan Chong plate machine returned to normal, the spare parts used in the transformation are the spare parts of the developing machine used by the CTP plate making machine, which not only saves the maintenance cost, but also realizes the recycling of the old things.
