The main trend for customers to require container printing is to tend to more colors and high precision images. Flat objects and screen printers know that color overprinting is not a mystery, but you still don't see a large percentage of color overprints for plastic and glass containers.

If you have experienced the production process, you can think that the steps of mixing the color overprinting effect are more complicated. But you don't have to know the details of all the steps, because the best producers can help you get the results you expect. Most customers who have color overprinted in other markets and printers who color overprinted flat objects are a bit surprised when they see the effect of color printing on irregular surface objects. This is the commercial effect you should pursue.

To meet the customer's requirements is the color overprint of the image directly printed on the container, there are three aspects that are highly favored by everyone's favor; in fact, it is positioning, color sequence, overprinting three steps.

One; registration [a few positioning methods are indispensable]

There are three factors that affect the accuracy of the registration: the first element is whether the machine's input/positioning system is calibrated correctly, ensuring that each substrate is accurately positioned each time it is transported from the input to the print positioning device; the second element is each Whether the tension of a screen is consistent; the third factor is whether the substrate is affected by various factors of the machine and the workshop during the multiple printing process. Dealing with the problems involved in the above three elements, the color registration can be accurate. Here, the use of the insurance positioning method to complete the control of the above three elements and their sources can be resolved in time.

1; overlay film positioning

First, a piece of transparent film is fixed on the surface of the substrate for printing, and so on. Each unit of the overprinting unit prints the image one by one, which can intuitively distinguish the positional relationship between the image and the substrate, and is suitable for silk-screening the color pattern on the transparent material. When positioning, the second color pattern can be silk-printed on the film and covered with a thin mold printed with the first color pattern, so that the same position of the two-color pattern meets the design size requirement, and then the thin pattern with the first color pattern is printed. The platform is firmly adhered, and the second color pattern chamber of the silk screen printing only needs to overlap the transparent color workpiece printed with the first color pattern and the first color pattern on the platform to achieve the purpose of positioning. After the overprinting is correctly positioned, the relevant process parameter adjustments are fixed, and mass production operations can be performed.

2; mark insurance positioning

To overprint the next color version, the plate loading should be in accordance with the position marking device of the previous color version; the mesh distance; the flatness of the screen should be the same as the front color version. The positioning of the lower color version is to align the calibration pattern of the previous color with the gauge and fix it (inhalation, etc.). Put the screen version into the frame fixture according to the previous version of the label, observe the pattern of the screen version and the proof pattern of the proof plate, and slowly move the frame to register the two. At this time, initially tighten the fixture. Knife angle; the knife pressure remains the same as the previous version. Then test the print, and check the test print registration on the sample. Under normal circumstances, the fit error is 0.5mm. After 2~3 trials, it means basically stable, then determine the adjustment method, or fine-tune Ink pad, or fine-tuning the screen fixture, should not blindly twist, and even mess with the rules, so that the entire batch of substrates is not allowed to overprint, and can not arbitrarily change the gauge.

3; model with limited position

For the round-type printing, the bearing under the bottle is convenient for the container to rotate under the wire mesh, and the groove of the container is used to limit the positioning of the left and right horizontal strings; for the partial printing, the bottle is loaded into a special type. The two-piece mold base is matched with the outer contour of the bottle as a force support; their bottle mouth sleeve has a gas nozzle part. It also has the function of auxiliary positioning.

4; vacuum adsorption positioning

For the bottle mouth sleeve that needs to be vacuum-adsorbed and fixed, there is a nozzle member. It also has the function of assisting positioning. The bottle is placed in the lower mold half at the work table. The table slides into the printing position and pushes the bottle toward the nozzle to insert the nozzle into the bottle neck. After the mold is clamped, the air is inflated through the nozzle to print.
