In the printing process, the problem of "ghosting" is often encountered. At this time, the film and printing plate have been made, and the revision is unrealistic. The only way to do this is to try to minimize ghosting during the printing phase. The following will introduce how to reduce ghosting to the lightest with the Mitsubishi 3F offset press.
1. cause
A picture we want to print. Since there is a vertical ink stick in the middle of the two horizontal ink sticks, the circumferential direction of the vertical ink stick requires a large amount of ink. However, in high-speed printing, if sufficient ink is not replenished in time on the inking roller, or the amount of ink in the horizontal strip corresponding to the vertical strip is less than that in other portions, the ink-deficient ghost is likely to occur.
2. Troubleshooting
Although the following method does not completely remove ghosts, it can reduce it to an almost invisible extent.
(1) Adjust the ink supply system. Since the layout of the vertical strip requires a large amount of ink, we can increase the amount of ink corresponding to the ink button of the vertical strip, and supplement the ink supply amount of the portion as much as possible. However, due to the axial movement of the tandem roller, in order to ensure uniformity of the ink color of the entire horizontal strip, the amount of ink should be reduced on both sides of the corresponding portion of the vertical strip. The amount of ink plus the amount of ink struck through can substantially ensure the uniformity of the amount of ink in the bar.
(2) Control the dampening mode. The Mitsubishi 3F offset press is available in 3 dampening options. You can switch between the three modes at any time on the remote control station. When ghosting occurs, another dampening form is generally used. In this dampening mode, since the transfer roller 2 is separated from the inking roller 5 and the leveling roller 6, the ink remaining on the water roller 1 cannot be transferred, so that the excess ink can be used as a supplement to the lack of ink on the plate. To reduce ghosting. The dampening mode has the lowest number of water fountain rolls and a small degree of ink emulsification.
(3) Adjust the amount of water supplied. We know that the ink-and-wash balance is a relatively balanced during the printing process, and the ink-to-ink balance can be achieved between 15% and 26% in the ink. When the dampening solution is controlled to balance the ink with less water, the emulsification value of the ink is the smallest. Relatively speaking, in the same amount of transferred ink, the emulsification degree is small, and the ink content in the printed product is high, so that the ink color of the printed product is saturated. To a certain extent, the ghost effect can be reduced.
Through the combination of the above three methods, the influence of ghosting failure during printing can be basically reduced to a small extent, thereby improving the quality of printed products. This method is very effective in practical operation, and can directly print high quality products without changing the design and process of the printed product.
