The structure of the offset blanket is designed according to the overall effect of the spacing of the printing machine drum, the thickness of the blanket lining, and the requirements of the printing technology. The thickness of the surface glue is generally 0.6-0.7 mm. If it is too thin, the elasticity is low. The hardness is too high, it will wear the printing plate, reduce the printing durability of the printing plate, and the net dot will not be full. The screen will start the ink bar (that is, the picture will start from the top) and the black color will be different. If the surface is too thick, the printed dots will be made. The deformation causes the print to move, the overprint is not accurate, and the picture is blurred. Offset blankets are different from general rubber products in that they carry the ink on the plates to the paper. In order to make the ink color uniform, the dots are clear and the layers are rich, the offset blanket must have the characteristics of moderate hardness, small compression deformation, good ink transfer performance and small elongation. It must have adsorption ink and adsorption dampening solution in chemical properties. The role of the oil should not have chemical reaction with oil and syrup and the performance of oil and syrup. Since it is lithographic printing, the flatness of the blanket is very high.
In an ideal case, the blanket only functions as a transfer image, and the change in the radius of the blanket does not affect the size of the image, but in practice, the overprinting is liable to cause misregistration due to deformation of the blanket during imprinting. When we change the blanket, we often put a flat offset paper under the blanket, in order to make the blanket fully contact with the printing plate, but we must pay attention to the uniformity of the blanket of each unit of the multi-color machine. When padding white paper, the thickness of the pad should be the same. It is necessary to properly arrange the radius ratio of the roller, try to keep the rolling rolling as much as possible, use a blanket with a small circumferential elongation, and pay attention to the directionality of the blanket to ensure the warp direction of the blanket. The drum axes are parallel. In the usual printing process, due to improper operation of the operator, or foreign matter in the paper, there is often a phenomenon of smashing the blanket. A piece of blanket is made at least a few hundred yuan, and the price of the import is more expensive. The full-opening blanket is nearly a thousand dollars, so every time a piece of blanket is broken, it will greatly increase the production cost. Extending the life of the blanket will appropriately reduce production costs. In the production, first start from the crepe paper, shake the paper fully to prevent foreign matter from being caught in the white paper. During the paper feeding process, it is necessary to prevent double or multiple phenomena. If there are double sheets, stop the paper in time. After printing, wipe the blanket in time to restore its original appearance and maintain its elasticity. This will greatly extend the life of the blanket. It not only saves costs, but also makes the production task complete smoothly.
