The preparation of spot color inks includes the formulation of light inks and the blending of dark inks. All the inks formulated by adding the thinner in the original ink are light-colored inks. The blending agent is mainly used as a dilute agent, and the primary color ink is supplemented. At this time, you must pay attention to the following aspects:
(1) Select a suitable thinner based on the color sample;
(2) Determine the proportional relationship between the original ink and the dilute agent according to the chromatogram and the original sample;
(3) sequentially adding the selected primary color inks in order from light color to dark color;
(4) Add ink in order of increasing proportion according to the ratio of blending;
(5) After the preparation is even, use a scraper to scrape the small color sample and compare it with the original sample, or open the ink on the paper, that is, draw the ink similar to the mung bean volume on the paper, and then another paper cover. Spread the ink on top;
(6) Try to use less ink of different colors, otherwise the gloss of the formulated ink will be reduced, and the ink color will be gray;
(7) The paper used for the sample is preferably the same as the printing paper. The color and the sample must be observed under the same standard light source.
When formulating dark inks, the method is basically the same as that of light inks, but it should be noted that:
(1) The main color is used as the main ink, supplemented by other inks. When blending, first analyze the light and dark relationship between the primary color ink and the secondary color ink, then weigh the ink, set the main color ink on the ink distribution station, slowly add the auxiliary color ink and stir evenly, and then observe the difference with the original color sample by comparison method. Until the match.
(2) Use the hue close to the required ink for blending. According to the principle of color reduction, the mixed color will become gray, the more the number of primary color inks, the darker the color, and the lower the brightness and color vividness. Therefore, when formulating inks, it is necessary to select a color ink that is similar to the color requirement, and avoid the mixing of a plurality of color inks. For example, dark brown is usually blended with black ink and yellow ink with black ink.
(3) Pay attention to the color shift of the ink. Inks usually have some color cast, such as reddish, bluish, yellowish, etc. When blending inks, it is necessary to control the color shift of each ink.
