Before the pre-pressed CDI file enters the next process, the most important thing to do is to check. Since there is no film output in the CDI plate making method, how to ensure the accuracy of the document becomes the most critical issue before the plate is engraved.

Regular inspections of the finished files (file formats limited to AI, EPS, GRS, etc.) are performed using Esko-Graphics' Finaleye software. The software can check the buckle pattern of the work piece and the size of the buckle cover, the mesh of the flat mesh color block, the percentage of the dot of any part of the gradient bar, the proportion of each color version in the four color map, the color separation display of each color version, the color version Quantity, etc. For flexo, spot colors are often used in a variety of jobs, which is easy for Finaleye to check, especially for small text and thin lines or dark versions. The software can be checked visually, and the color of the ink can be visually displayed in the software to visually show the effect of future printing. However, the biggest drawback of this software is that it can't check the files of EPS images with spot color channels. These files need to be converted into TIFF format and then checked, but the premise is to ignore the spot colors in the picture (ensure in Photoshop) The spot color in the picture has been checked to be correct).

If there is a digital proofing device, the slightly difficult job can be printed out with digital proofing to more intuitively check the overall effect of the job; the relatively simple job can print the ordinary color spray to check the overall effect. It is recommended to bring the die line when making the draft, in order to observe whether the finished pattern cut out in the future is beautiful, centered, and the position size meets the product requirements. For relatively complex die-cut products, such as: various paper cups, cigarette cases, special boxes, pillow-shaped back sealing bags, etc., it is also necessary to use the printed color draft to fold and form according to the die line to check whether the die line is It conforms to the geometrical dimensions required for its forming, and prevents it from being formed into a shape according to this size until the printing is completed.

For orders with special processes, it is recommended to check the color separation. For example, there are a number of spot colors, and there is a partial hot stamping (or hot silver), which requires partial whitening and partial glazing. It is usually made of multiple layers during prepress production. In this case, check It is more troublesome. It is recommended to print the color separation draft check, because the content on the color separation print is the content to be done on the future printing plate, which is more intuitive to check. If the company is equipped with a color separation printer, you can directly print the color separation test.
