A company has 2 MAN PLAMAG color printing machines, equipped with 8 printing units, each unit printing 3 colors (upper 2 colors, lower 1 color). Since the machine has been used for many years, the plate running rule often occurs when mounting multiple color groups. Especially when changing the printing speed or paper, the running rule between the cross-color groups is usually more than 3mm.

The reason for the analysis is that since the operation of the paper tape is only driven by the tension of the paper tape, the running balance is caused when the dynamic balance of the operation changes due to the change of the printing speed or the paper pick-up. From the principle analysis, the running gauge can be corrected by adjusting the position of the CNC (within 2mm) and the position of the tape (ranging over 2mm). However, the time-consuming and costly paper during normal startup affects the printing quality of the color newspaper.

In actual production, a manual adjustment knob can be added to the paper bar controlled by the day position of the paper tape. Once the running rule appears in the cross color group, just turn the knob, which is convenient, fast, and wasteful. At the same time, the printing quality is guaranteed.
