Secondly, the Beijing News Group's own conditions do not meet the requirements of the CTP system. After weighing again and again, Beijing News Group decided to focus on improving its own construction. Since then, Beijing News Group has introduced large-scale dot-point copy scanners and large-scale software, and gradually realized the full digital process of the prepress system. After Peking University Founder Company solved the interface problem between the CTP system and the RIP of the typesetting system such as Founder Weiss and Feiteng, Beijing News Group began to conduct a series of introduction and negotiation work with foreign companies including CTP system projects in 1998. At the time, the Beijing News Group did the same, but it turned out that this road did not work.
The Beijing News Group introduced the CTP system of Danish Baolu Defu. When answering the reporter's question about how to determine the target manufacturers of equipment, Sun said that there are several reasons for this. First of all, from the perspective of equipment structure, Baolu Defu's equipment is internal drum type, and its repeat positioning accuracy is relatively high. At the same time, this equipment can be upgraded due to the modular design concept. Another major reason is that Beijing News Group introduced the equipment of Baolu Defu Company when it was on the laser photo-aligning machine. The products and agents of the company were satisfied with the Beijing News Group in order to maintain technology. Director Sun said that the CTP equipment they introduced was put in place in 1999, and now it has undertaken the task of making all the color newspaper printing of Beijing News Group. He feels that compared with the traditional plate making process, the layout made by the CTP system is very clean, and the dots of the transitional and high-light parts are basically not lost; when printing, the ink on the ground is even and full; the printed matter is basically unchanged compared with the proof; More importantly, the use of the CTP system can greatly reduce the time of prepress processing, which is very valuable for the newspapers with high timeliness requirements. He believes that it is now possible to determine that the equipment introduced has achieved its intended purpose. In response to the question of the high cost of running the CTP system proposed by the reporter, Sun Director also counted the account. He believes that cost accounting should be considered comprehensively. Now, the price of a CTP system is slightly higher than the price of the laser imagesetter. However, if you consider the use of CTP technology, you only need to have a matching punching machine. However, the traditional process requires a PS version. Director Sun stressed that cost accounting should respect the facts. Since the times have been digitized, cost accounting should be carried out in a digital way, rather than by mouth. The comparative cost should be the ratio of import to import, domestic and domestic, and can not be directly plated according to the price of imports. The cost of consumables for traditional plate making process is calculated according to domestic production. In the traditional plate making process, the domestic consumables are used, and the price may be much lower. However, as far as the current situation is concerned, domestic consumables cannot compete with imported products in terms of quality and stability. Third, in the introduction, if possible, try to maintain a certain degree of continuity in technology. In this way, the operator will not have too much strangeness, and the operation can be easily mastered.
To technology quality, time to technology, and technology to benefit, should be the basic principle of technology introduction for each printing enterprise, and the introduction of CTP system, printing companies should also follow this basic principle.
