The color sequence of color screen printing is generally yellow, cyan, magenta and black. In view of the process requirements, the color sequence is also arranged in cyan, magenta, yellow and black. In foreign countries, black, yellow, magenta, and cyan are also printed in color. Because of the difference in the shape of the substrate (the difference between the plane and the surface) and the nature of the substrate, the color sequence is different, for example, When printing on transparent objects, the color sequence should be black, yellow, cyan, and magenta. The arrangement of the color sequence has an important constraint on the color of the original. How to ensure that the color of the copy is not distorted. In addition to correctly mastering the use of the ink, it also requires long-term work practice and experience accumulation to continuously explore and summarize.
There are two factors to consider in determining the screen printing color sequence, one of which is the transparency of the ink on the substrate, which is the main factor in both factors. Since ink is produced by screen mixing or superimposing ink of various colors in the screen printing, if the ink on the substrate is poor in transparency, the first color ink is covered when the second color is printed. It cannot be combined with the second color to generate a new color. The second factor is that the human eye's ability to feel various colors is different. In general, the human eye is most sensitive to magenta, followed by cyan, and the least sensitive to yellow. Because people have different color sensitivities, it often causes the expansion or reduction of yellow dots, and the loss and the change of the amount of ink are unclear, thus affecting the printing quality.
The correct screen printing process and requirements are that the first color is printed with a cyan plate, and after printing, the contrast check of the tone reproduction is performed with the ladder ruler and the color code. The second color is printed in a yellow version, so that the two colors are combined to form a green color, and then the human eye is used to recognize the green tone, and the print quality is checked against the scale and color scale. The third color is printed in red and finally in black. The black version enhances the outline and dark levels. After the four-color version is printed, the same color reproduction as the original is obtained.
