On November 12th, 2009, the 3rd Jinguang Graphic Arts Awards ceremony was held in the Sofitel Wanda Beijing. Mr. Qi Shulin, Deputy Director of the General Administration of Press and Publication, Mr. Li Xiaoping, Deputy Mayor of Zhenjiang Municipal People's Government, and more than 300 representatives, designers and well-known experts from the printing industry attended the ceremony.
After three years of careful construction, the participation and influence of the Jinguang Graphic Arts Grand Prix has increased year by year, and it has become an important communication and learning platform for the printing industry in the Asia-Pacific region. Under the joint efforts of Jindong Paper, China Printing Technology Association, Hong Kong Graphic Arts Association, China Institute of Printing Science and Technology and China Publishing Science Institute, this year's competition attracted from mainland China, Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan, Japan and Australia. The participation of printing companies in the Asia-Pacific region such as Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, India, Israel and Russia received 1,835 entries.
It consists of 15 experts from printing, design and other related fields in China, Australia, Japan and other countries. After several months, with a prudent attitude and professional vision, from printing quality, technical process difficulty, printing product technology innovation and The four main criteria for functional innovation, design creativity and finishing effects were reviewed for all works, and 193 finalists and gold and silver prizes were selected. During the judging period, foreign experts highly appreciated the level of the entries, and believed that the outstanding works of the competition won the grand prize in any world competition, fully highlighting the rapid development of the craft and design level of China's printing industry.

At the awards ceremony of the day, a total of 7 gold medals and 32 silver prizes were produced. Different from the previous two awards, this year's awards added the Creative Design Award, which aims to promote the perfect combination of the design concept of the designer and the advanced technology of the printing company.
