First, Characteristics of a water-based ink for corrugated printing

Water-based inks fall into two broad categories:

a rosin-maleic acid modified resin series (low grade)

b acrylic resin series (high grade)

Second, the requirements for the performance of water-based inks

1 After long-term storage of the precipitate, it should be easily redispersed after stirring;

2 to have good flow properties and viscosity;

3 has good storage stability;

4 Drying performance should be fast and appropriate;

5 can not have any adverse effects on the printing plate and printing press;

6 Can't have too much pungent odor.

Third,  water-based ink Technical parameters:

1 Color: Approximate to the standard pattern Note: Compare the sample and the standard sample without using the manual color wheel to compare the color

2 Fineness: less than 20 microns Instrument: 0-50 micron scraper fineness meter.

3 Viscosity: 20 seconds ± 5 seconds Instrument: RIGOSHA4 # cup (25 ° C).

4 pH: 8.0-9.

5 Instrument: Portable pH meter (PHB-2 type).. Heavy metal content: in line with the world packaging green environmental standards.

6 tolerance meets requirements

The correct use of four water-based inks:

1 Stir well before use to keep the ink composition uniform;

2 After the use is turned on, the ink should be sealed and sealed, so that the dust can be dropped and the skin can be dried;

3 If the ink contains impurities, it should be filtered first, and then used with new ink;

4 Avoid near high temperatures or hot sun during storage.

5 If it is found that the viscosity of the applied ink is slightly larger, an appropriate amount of water may be added for adjustment.
