1, overprint
For the needs of overprinting, small lines and texts cannot be multi-color overprinting. There should be no small anti-white characters on the color pattern. It should not be left blank on the color pattern, and other small texts should be placed on it. The version of black, blue, red, and yellow is not separated from other color versions. For printing purposes, the bar code should be arranged so that the direction of the line is consistent with the circumferential direction of the plate. The color should guarantee the direction. If there are conditions, the large solid background and the layer pattern version are best to be plated separately. The large ground color should be used as special as possible. The hanging version must fully consider the two color jump zones of 80% and 5%. When the network is tapped, the limit of the dot should be above 10%.
2, ink color
The formulation of the ink mainly includes two aspects: on the one hand, the adjustment of the ink printing adaptability, such as the viscosity and concentration of the ink, the principle is to adjust the viscosity of the ink to be adjusted by the diluent solvent, which is determined according to the condition of the plate roll and the machine before printing. Ink viscosity, in the printing process, according to the solvent volatilization, the solvent is often added to ensure that the viscosity of the ink is constant; when the ink is to be diluted, a thinner (toner oil) must be used.
Another aspect of ink blending refers to the blending of ink colors. In this regard, you need to pay attention to the following points: The light source for observing the color should use the standard light source (D65) as much as possible. If there is no standard light source, it should be in the direction of the north window with sunlight. When formulating the spot color, the original color ink should be used for the preparation, so that the brightness and saturation of the ink color can be guaranteed. Color matching with as few ink colors as possible. The more the color number, the greater the color matching error, and the more difficult it is to recolor the color. Proofing, when a set of plates is printed, a standard proof must be confirmed. Some manufacturers take the proofs of the plate making factory as the standard samples, and the final print delivery can not be the same, so the printing machine must be used before the printing, and confirmed by the customer or the relevant personnel as a standard.
3, proofing
The standard print should be carried out under normal printing conditions, so the following points should be noted when proofing: select the most basic printing process conditions. Try to choose a lower ink viscosity. The primary color ink should be added, and the contaminated ink that has been used multiple times should be used as little as possible for proofing. It is forbidden to perform all non-standard operations in order to excessively pursue the effect during proofing, such as increasing the density and viscosity to increase the hue, adjusting the pressure, and scraping the blade to increase the transfer rate of the ink. The ink must be mixed evenly before use, especially for spot color inks. The spot color inks that are self-adapted must be accurately recorded and retained for reference. Try to reach the speed of normal printing when proofing. If conditions permit, after confirming the basic color of the sample, a certain number of products will be printed first, then sampled and confirmed as a standard sample, and sealed as archive data. After the standard sample is confirmed, the 2~3mm connected to it should be cut as the equivalent standard sample, and it should be properly stored in the place without heat source and no ultraviolet light. After each printing, the cutting part is used as the printing sample.
