Q: What is the advantage of CTcP compared to CTP?

1. Why is the price of CTcP higher?

The biggest advantage of CTcP is the use of ordinary PS plate making. In order to achieve this function, the CTcP device's imaging system is far more complicated than other CTP products. So far, only a company of basysPrint has been able to develop CTcP products, while companies such as Kodak, HP, Fuji, Screen, and Agfa have only CTP products. In fact, Agfa's CTP products are also produced by BasysPrint in an OEM manner. The price of CTcP is relatively high, but we use a much cheaper traditional PS plate, and CTcP can save you a lot of money in the plate and plate. Compared to pre-press users who use film or CTP, CTcP is a device that saves users money. In fact, compared to many thermal CTPs of the same level, our price is not high. If you already have a plated device, then we have saved you money in this area, and you don't have to worry about CTP expensive special potions. Q: What is the basic model of the device?

A: You can choose the appropriate model according to the business situation of the printing factory:

About equipment

Q: What is the publishing speed?

A: 5 lines, 15 ~ 25pph; 6 series: 25pph; 7 series: 11 ~ 20pph; 11 series, 10 ~ 16pph. (Does not include the change time)


Q: How did your plate making speed come from?

A: 50% image coverage, negative version, 1500dpi resolution, maximum exposure area of the model.


Q: What is the resolution?

A: 900, 1270, 1500dpi three.


Q: How many screen lines can you do? Can you add a FM network?

A: You can add 200 lines, with rip, you can add a higher number of lines. Our smallest pixel is only 17um, and there is no problem with FM screening.


Q: Do you need special environmental requirements for your machine?

A: UV-SETTER can work normally under normal conditions. Temperature: 18 ~ 24C; Humidity: 20 ~ 80%, no condensation. It is also not necessary to prepare darkroom or yellow lighting, as in other CTP equipment, in daylight conditions.


Q: What is the stability of your machine?

A: Our imaging technology has been accumulated for more than ten years, and we have already installed thousands of installations around the world. These data have already indicated that our equipment is mature equipment.


Q: I heard that there are other manufacturers in the market that also produce direct platesetters for traditional plates. What is your equipment and how?

A: We know these manufacturers. They may have a good concept, but I can tell you that these devices have been available in recent years, and their immature and unstable devices are not comparable to the devices we have developed for more than a decade. (Some information about LUSCHER, released in 2006, the price of equipment is very high, two to three million, the speed is much lower than the promotion.)


Q: Your device resolution is only 1500dpi, which is too low.

A: Our equipment can easily do 200-line screening, which can meet the needs of most prints. With the rip of the front end, our machine can output the number of screen lines of 250 to 300 lines or higher, and can do some very high printing activities. The outlets of our equipment are unique square dots, and the edges are very sharp. Compared with the uncontrollable circular dots of common CTP equipment, we can more vividly copy printed materials, and also enable our equipment to output high quality at low resolution. Print, reduce the amount of data and save document processing time.


Although the general CTP has a very high resolution, we know that there are many factors affecting the reduction of the dot. In addition to the pre-press image processing, there are many other factors, such as the limitation of the plate, the control of the printing process, the control of the ink, the paper, etc. Etc., so the high resolution of these devices is often difficult to achieve in the actual production process.


About the plate

Q: Can your equipment use disposable sheets?

A: Our equipment can be exposed on plates with a wavelength range of 360nm to 450nm, which of course includes some process-free plates. We have also been testing other free processing plates.


Q: Can your equipment use a negative version?

A: Of course, our equipment can be exposed on positive and negative plates. In fact, we recommend that you use the negative version, because when using the negative version, only the image is exposed, with 50% image coverage, the exposure on the negative version is twice as fast as on the positive version.


Q: What are the recommended CTcP plates?

A: The biggest advantage of CTcP is that it adapts to ordinary PS plates, which includes almost all plates. However, the effect of the use is different. We have done a lot of experiments in China and Germany, and we can provide customers with experimental reports on various plates. Among them, some domestic PS version exposure data on CTcP has been better than the data provided by the German factory. Customers can make the best choice according to their own situation.


About process and RIP

Q: What kind of process does your machine support?

A: All processes that can generate 1-bit TIFF format are supported by our machines.


Q: What rip does your machine use?

A: Most of the rips on the market can be used by our machines. For example: HARLEQUIN, AGFA TAIPAN, AGFA APOGEE, RAMPAGE and HEIDELBURG DELTA TECHNOLOGY, and the like.


About the light bulb

Q: What is the life of your light bulb?

A: 2000 hours. UV lamps are the only consumables for this device, and the cost of folding onto each plate is very low.


Q: Why is the life of the laser head shorter than CTP?

Answer: The light source of CTP equipment is dozens or even hundreds of laser diodes. Although the lifetime of individual light-emitting components is relatively long, the probability of damage is quite high because of the large number. As far as we know, the failure time of most CTP light sources is much lower than the actual life. In many cases, within 2000 hours, that is, the life of our bulbs will be damaged. You have to know that for thermal CTP, damage to a single diode can halve the performance of the entire system!
