    1. Suede varnish and metal varnish

    In view of the characteristics of modern printing, environmental protection and anti-counterfeiting effectiveness, on the basis of water-based varnish, some special effects of water-based varnish have been added. Among them, water-based suede varnish and metal varnish have high use value.

    Water-based suede varnish is a suede effect in the drying process after glazing coating using a water-based glazing system. The strength of the suede effect is related to the amount of glazing oil used, if a ceramic anilox roll is used. The light system adjusts the number of lines of the anilox roller to achieve the purpose of changing the amount of oil to enhance or reduce the suede effect.

    Waterborne metal varnish is a metallic glazing system that exhibits metallic color on the surface after glazing coating. Its color is various, including silver, bright gold, bronze gold and other colors. The strength of metallic color is mainly related to The amount of light is related, and the greater the amount of glazing coating, the stronger the metal effect.

    2. Alcohol-free (ipa) fountain solution

    In order to reduce the amount of alcohol used in printing production and improve the printing quality, the use of alcohol-free fountain solutions has become a trend. In this case, a new alcohol-free fountain solution from Varn solves this problem.

    (1) The amount of dampening solution added: 3-5%;

    (2) The amount of isopropanol added: 0-6%; depending on the amount of the fountain solution added and the water on the printing machine, no continuous addition is required in the production process;

    (3) In the use of alcohol-free fountain solution should pay attention to the adaptation of the water system to the dampening solution and operating habits, it is recommended to first reduce alcohol, after a period of time, then do alcohol-free operation.

    When using alcohol-free fountain solution, please note that the original water roller of the printing machine contains hydrophilic substances. It is a water roller that can directly use the alcohol-free fountain solution. However, if the non-original water roller is replaced, it does not contain hydrophilic substances, which will affect To the use of alcohol-free fountain solution.

    3. hybrid technology application

    1. Waterborne varnish hybrid technology

    Water-based varnish hybrid technology refers to the technology of high gloss and matt glazing effects on the same print.

    The hardware requirements of this technology are relatively high, and the operation technology and application technology are relatively simple:

    (1) The printing material must be high gloss paper;

    (2) The printing equipment must be 5+1 or above;

    (3) Use oily matt oil to partially glaze through the ps plate in the last color group, and then use the high-gloss water-based varnish to perform full-surface glazing on the glazing color group. Note that the oily matte oil and the water-based high gloss varnish are More special varnish, not ordinary varnish;

    (4) Control the contrast between bright and matte by adjusting the amount of oily matte oil applied.

    2.uv varnish hybrid technology

    Uv varnish hybrid technology is a printing technology that can produce the following two effects by using uv varnish for one printing: branching and high-gloss effect; matte and high-light effect.

    (1) The requirements of uv varnish hybrid technology for printing hardware are similar to those of water-based varnish hybrid technology. It is required to print on high-gloss paper, and requires more than 5+1 printing equipment. The operation is similar, but the drying method is UV curing and drying. (2) Adjusting the contrast effect of the branches and highlights and adjusting the contrast effect of matt to highlights are achieved by adjusting the amount of ink on the oily varnish. Please pay attention to the drying of the uv varnish. The problem is that the printing speed can be appropriately reduced to ensure the drying of the uv varnish, and the specific speed is determined by the drying condition;

    (3) At the same time, please pay attention to the effect of branching and high-gloss effect. Oily varnish and high-gloss uv varnish are special varnish used together; matt varnish and high gloss uv varnish with matte and high gloss effect. It is a special varnish used together.

    4. mfx technology application

    The mfx technology is a complex metal color that can be printed in a variety of colors using ordinary five-color printing, including transitional layers of metallic colors. The common printing method is generally applied to each metal color by using a spot color ink. Solved, but the effect of the layer transition printing is not ideal, the use of mfx technology to print metal spot color effect is very ideal.

    (1) The printed substrate requires a high-brightness substrate, such as a substrate such as coated paper;

    (2) Five-color inks are silver, yellow, magenta, cyan, and black. Among them, silver ink requires high brightness and strong surface bonding ability; four-color inks require high brightness, saturation and transparency;

    (3) The color sequence is silver, black, blue, red and yellow, which is printed by wet-wet method, so that the transition effect and fluidity effect of the metal color is better;

    (4) Printing speed is 5000-7000 sheets/hour.

    5. Pearlescent application technology

    As a high-brightness material that enhances the added value of products, pearlescent materials are currently used in the printing industry. They can improve the color of the product, and can also change the color rendering effect. It is a new material for packaging printing and color printing.

    Pearlescent materials are mainly divided into the following categories:

    1. Pearl powder: Pearl powder is divided into ordinary powder pearlescent material and pearlescent ball dispersed with soft resin. The color mainly includes silver, bright gold, metallic color, rainbow interference color and chameleon series, among which pearl powder is used according to the direction of use. The effect is different from the particle size. The smaller the particle size, the stronger the hiding power of the pearl powder. The larger the particle size, the stronger the gloss of the pearl powder. In the printing industry, the particle size has strict requirements, and the small particle size can be used. For offset printing, larger particle sizes can be used for flexo and gravure, and have better results.

    2. Pearlescent pulp: Pearlescent pulp is a kind of high viscosity viscosity pearlescent material, which is more suitable for mixing with offset ink. It has excellent hiding power and good gloss, and is suitable for offset printing;

    In terms of the use of pearlescent materials, there are the following methods:

    1. In the offset printing, the pearlescent powder with smaller particle size is mixed with the printing ink and printed in a certain ratio; or the water-based and uv glazing system is used to add a certain proportion of pearl powder to the glazing glazing for glazing. Coating, the effect is better; the pearlescent pulp and the offset ink are mixed in a certain ratio for printing, which can greatly improve the brightness of the ink and the effect of Zhuguang;

    2. Gravure and flexographic printing are carried out by mixing pearl powder and ink corresponding to the printing plate;

    3. The pearlescent effect is related to the bearing capacity and mixing ratio of the ink to the pearl.
