Static electricity brings a series of troubles to plastic printing, which can be summarized as follows:

1. Static electricity generates discharge, which may cause fire or explosion accidents in severe cases.

2. Static electricity causes the films to stick to each other and promotes the adhesion of the ink layer. At the same time, it is not conducive to the operation steps such as compounding, slitting and finishing, and it consumes man-hours.

3. Static electricity makes the surface of the bag vacuum, which not only affects the bag making, but also reduces the product quality.

In addition, color migration, the phenomenon of airspace (that is, two different color patterns should be connected, but leaving a border blank

The phenomenon is also due to the printing defects caused by static electricity. Static electricity is caused by friction in the film during processing and extrusion. We know that an atom is composed of a nucleus and an outer electron. When two substances are rubbed, the one with strong electronegativity gets electrons and has a negative charge, and the weaker electron loses electrons and has a positive charge. If only one of the rubbing materials is a metal, since electrons can flow freely in the metal, static electricity does not occur; if both are non-metallic, one side is positively charged and the other is negatively charged. After the film is wound, it is tightly wound together due to electrostatic attraction. To eliminate static electricity, an antistatic agent is generally incorporated into the ink, which can improve the conductivity of the plastic surface after printing, and the charged plastic is quickly discharged, thereby preventing static electricity from accumulating. However, the printing equipment must also be well grounded at the same time, otherwise the static electricity can not be exported, and the purpose of eliminating static electricity cannot be achieved.
