Large format inkjet printers are relatively expensive to use, and once the operation is improper or the printing conditions are not met, the printer is prone to failure.
Trouble 1. After replacing the new ink cartridge, the “Ink” light on the printer panel is always on when the phone is turned on.
There are two reasons for this failure: First, the ink cartridge is not installed, so that the printer can not detect the ink cartridge, reinstall the ink cartridge; second, after replacing the ink cartridge, the printer will charge the ink delivery system, and this The process is not possible while the machine is turned off, so the printer cannot detect the ink cartridges on the reinstallation.
Solution: Turn on the power and move the print head to the ink cartridge replacement position. After the ink cartridge is installed, let the printer charge the ink. After the ink filling process is finished, the fault will be eliminated.
Fault 2. The inkjet printer has no response after issuing the print command.
In fact, no response from the printer is just an illusion. The printer does not respond when the cable is properly connected, the printer is not out of paper, etc., mainly because there are many tasks waiting in the printer's print queue, that is, many tasks are waiting in line in the printer's cache. If the print command is issued at this time, the print buffer cannot accept the new print job. The last phenomenon is that the printer has no response.
Solution: Restart the printer and let the contents of the printer cache be automatically lost to solve the problem of no response.
Fault 3. The nozzle is blocked
The nozzle blockage is generally divided into two cases: soft plug blockage and hard plug blockage.
The soft plug is a disconnection fault caused by the viscosity of the ink on the nozzle for some reason. Normally, the original ink can be recovered after repeated cleaning.
A hard plug is a plug that is caused by chemical coagulum or impurities in the nozzle. The elimination of this fault is more difficult. The nozzle can be removed first, and immersed in a special cleaning solution for Epson to be cleaned by backwashing and pressurizing. After washing, wash the washing liquid on the nozzle with pure water and dry it before use. As long as the hard object does not damage the nozzle electrode, the cleaned nozzle can continue to be used. The author suggests that in the event of a hard plug blockage, it is best to ask professional maintenance personnel to check and repair, so as to avoid further failure caused by improper handling.
In addition, the use of the ink-filled ink cartridge is also prone to nozzle clogging failure, mainly for the following two reasons. First, the ultra-fine filter of Epson inkjet printer is designed at the ink outlet of the ink cartridge, and there is no filter at the interface between the nozzle ink inlet and the ink cartridge. When the user reversely injects ink into the ink cartridge at the ink outlet of the ink cartridge, it is easy to cause dust and impurities to enter the ink supply port, thereby causing the printer to plug. Second, the chemical nature of the ink is different from the residual ink in the original ink cartridge. A slow chemical reaction between the different inks is extremely difficult to observe with the naked eye. If this ink stays on the spray head and reacts, it will have a devastating effect on the spray head.
Fault 4. Printer cleaning pump nozzle failure
The printer cleaning pump nozzle plays a decisive role in protecting the printer nozzle, but it is also one of the main factors causing the plug. After the nozzle car returns to the position, the nozzle should be weakly pumped by the cleaning pump nozzle to seal and protect the nozzle. When the printer installs a new ink cartridge or the nozzle is broken, the suction pump at the lower end of the machine will pump the nozzle through it, and the higher the precision of the work, the better. However, in actual use, Epson large-format inkjet printers have higher requirements due to prolonged time, dust and ink residue, and the printer is prone to failure if it is not properly operated or cannot meet the printing conditions. The maintenance method of this part is: remove the upper cover of the printer, remove the trolley, and wash it with pure water through the needle tube, especially to clean the micro-hole gasket embedded in the mouth. Note that when cleaning this part, do not use ethanol or methanol, which will cause the microporous gasket embedded in this assembly to dissolve and deform. In addition, inkjet printers should be kept away from high temperature and dusty working environment to ensure long-term normal use of the machine.
Fault 5. Detecting normal ink line and significantly reducing printing accuracy
If the nozzle of an inkjet printer is used normally and does not malfunction, it has a life of only 20 to 40 ink cartridges. If the printer's printing accuracy is degraded, even if the ink cartridge is replaced, it does not help, it means that the printer's nozzle needs to be replaced. In addition, if the printing accuracy is degraded after replacing the ink cartridge, it may be that non-original ink is used.
For newly purchased printers, if the print line segment is unclear, the text pattern is skewed, the outer boundary of the text pattern is blurred, and the printing ink control synchronization accuracy is poor, the ink cartridge may be a fake or non-original ink cartridge and should be replaced immediately.
Fault 6. Walking car misplaced
The track of the Epson inkjet printer walking trolley is made by the precise combination of two alloy copper sleeves and a round steel shaft. The trolley is designed with a piece of oil-filled felt pad to supplement the lubricating oil on the shaft. There are two reasons for this kind of failure: one is due to the dust in the working environment, and the time is long, the lubricating oil on the shaft surface is aging and fails. If the printer continues to be used, it will be due to the shaft and the copper sleeve. Increased friction causes the car to travel misaligned until it hits the front of the car and cannot be used; the other is due to damage to the device. Above the printer car parking space is a photoelectric sensor, which is an important component that provides a printer car reset signal to the printer's main board. If the component is too dusty or damaged, the printer's car will not be able to use because it cannot find the return signal and hit the front of the car.
In the event of this failure, the printer should be powered off immediately and the unreturned cart should be pushed back to the parking space by hand. Look for a small piece of sponge or felt cloth, soak it in the sewing machine oil, and rub it on the spindle with a pair of tweezers. It is best to remove the spindle and wash it after oiling. If it is a fault caused by the second cause, it is generally necessary to replace the device.
Fault 7. Print disconnection
After the printer installs a new ink cartridge, it basically only needs to be cleaned once or twice. The ink line can be printed normally, and it is generally not broken during use.
There are two main reasons for the disconnection. First, the user does not set the paper feed tray before printing. The paper is caused by paper feeding during the paper feeding process. The paper and the nozzle are broken, causing the paper to break. Set the paper feed tray. Just fine. Second, when the original ink is running out, the new ink cartridge is not replaced in time, and the working temperature of the printer is high, causing the print to be broken. Generally, after the new ink cartridge is installed, it should be used up within three months and replaced immediately. If the replaced ink cartridge is not used frequently, the air inside the ink cartridge will cause its airtight performance to drop, and the viscosity of the ink on the nozzle and the ink cartridge will be easy. It becomes larger, causing a malfunction of the inkjet printer disconnection. In addition, disconnection failures can occur with other brands of ink cartridges. At this time, replace the original ink cartridge and clean the nozzle.
Fault 8. The ink cartridge after using the ink is faulty
If the physical and chemical properties of the injected ink are similar to those of the original ink cartridge, it is completely usable. Because the operator manually injects ink in the air under normal pressure, the amount of ink can not be mastered very consistently, the added ink molecules will contain more bubbles, do not rush to use after replacing such cartridges, but should be cleaned Turn off the printer after 1 or 2 times, and stop it for 2 to 6 hours. At this time, the ink in the ink cartridge will be automatically vented due to chemical action, and the air bubbles and air will be discharged to the top of the ink cartridge, which will reduce the trouble when used.
Another type of problem common to replenishing inks is the color error. The production of color materials will have a certain color difference due to different production batches, which is the most difficult way to produce colored materials.
