The plate cylinder (1-4#), the ink roller (6#), the swing ink feed roller (13#), and the drive roller (11#) must be adjusted after installation.
All other rollers in the ink transfer device do not have to be adjusted.
The ink fountain roller (14#) is adjusted together with the oscillating ink feed roller.
Note that all loosened screws are retightened after adjustment is complete.
Otherwise there is a danger of damage to the machine!
Before the ink is applied to the ink fountain, the paper must be coarsely adjusted. After all the rolls have been loaded, the coarse adjustment and ink fountain are inked and fine-tuned.
Loading the ink roller (6#)
The ink feed roller is loaded after all four of the plate rollers are loaded.
A smooth squeezing roller journal is introduced into the bearing that can be opened in the operating surface.
The threaded roller roller journal is introduced into the bearing of the transmission surface.
Required tools:
Two truncated fork wrenches SW24 in the random tool must be used for loading and unloading.
No force is applied to the drive train when loosening or tightening the nut of the oscillating roller.
The process is as follows:
Clamp the lock nut with a truncated fork wrench SW24. Tighten or loosen the other nut with a second truncated fork wrench SW24.
If you do not follow this method, there is a danger of damage to the machine!
The leveling roller (No. 15) generally does not have to be re-adjusted after loading. The dispensing roller can be disengaged by the handle of the drive surface during operation of the machine. This makes it easy to manually level the ink on the roll. The support of the leveling roller must be adjusted until the roller is fully raised and stationary.
If this is not the case, the stand must be adjusted. (Rotate the hex screw SW17 under the roller on the operating surface)
Adjustment by ink roller (1-4#) and ink roller (6#)
First, the pressure between the platen roller (1-3) and the ink roller (7, 8#) is roughly adjusted, and the pressure with the plate is adjusted. When the pressure of the plate roller and the plate is coarsely adjusted, the pad of the plate should be standard.
Coarse adjustment with the ink roller.
Adjust the platen roller by turning the eccentric bolts on the inside of both sides of the machine.
Tools used:
Fork wrench SW24
Adjustment process:
For this purpose, it is necessary to insert a 0.1 mm thick strip of paper between the rolls at about 10 CM on both sides of the ink roller. Adjust the ink roller until the two paper strips are evenly and smoothly pulled out.
Note: Oiled paper strips should be used when adjusting the new roller.
Coarse adjustment between the ink roller (6#) and the ink roller (3#).
Required tools:
Allen wrench SW6
Adjustment process:
Loosen the locking screw (SW6).
A 0.1 mm thick strip of paper was placed between the string of ink and the plate roll.
Adjust the squeezing roller by turning the eccentric until the strip is pulled out under gentle tension. Then tighten the screws again.
The adjustment of the inking roller can be precisely determined by means of the scale on the eccentric bushing.
The original adjustment can be restored when disassembling and new installation.
Adjustment guidelines:
A 0.1 mm thick strip of paper must be unobstructed between the squeezing roller and the stencil roller.
Adjustment between the ink roller (6#) and the ink roller (4#):
Required tools:
Hexagon socket wrench SW6
Adjustment process:
A 0.1 mm thick strip of paper was placed between the squeezing roller and the stencil roller.
Adjust the inking roller by rotating the roller end adjustment screw until the strip is pulled out with a slight tension.
Adjustment criteria:
A 0.1 mm thick strip of paper must be unobstructed between the inking roller and the offset roller.
After the rollers of the ink transfer device and the dampening device are loaded, the pressure between the offset roller and the ink stick and the printing plate is finely adjusted.
It is necessary to apply ink to the ink fountain and to the ink transfer device.
Fine adjustment of the ink roller (7/8#)
Adjustment process:
Slightly move the stationary machine and reversing it. A line of ink is visible on the plate roller and drive roller.
The ink stick should be about 4 mm wide. In addition, it must also be noted that its width should be uniform.
If there is any discrepancy, the adjustment of the plate roller must be corrected.
Adjustment process:
The ink bar must be evenly wide. Ink bar width: 4mm.
Adjustment with the plate cylinder:
The plate roller 1.2.3# is adjusted with the knob on the outside of the unit.
Turn clockwise to increase the pressure of the plate cylinder.
The dials on these knobs can be removed by pressing one side of the disc. We recommend setting the number 0 to the up position after the basic adjustment is completed.
The plate roller 4# is adjusted with the screw on the inside of the body.
Tools used:
Hexagon socket head SW6 or screwdriver SW6
Adjustment process:
Jog the machine on the way until you can see the plate slot.
Close the plate roller while the machine is stationary.
The punctual machine is about 20mm.
Then take off the plate roller.
Just click on the machine until you can see the ink on the drum. Adjust the plate roller with the width of the ink bar! However, the second ink bar is to be measured for this purpose because the first impact through the ink roller may be incorrect.
Adjustment criteria:
The width of the second ink bar (disengagement of the ink bar): the plate rollers 1.2 and 3 are 4 mm; the plate roller 4# is 3 mm.
In addition, it is also possible to roughly check the adjustment between the plate roller and the plate cylinder while the machine is running.
The guide roller 1.2.3# can be inspected by the probe 4 on the operating surface and the transmission surface. If these stencil rollers are regularly lifted during the operation of the machine, the pressure between them and the roller is indicated. is too big.
Need to re-adjust.
Fine adjustment between the ink roller (No. 6) and the plate roller (No. 3, No. 4).
Required tools:
Hexagon socket head SW5/SW6
Adjustment process:
The adjustment process is slightly punctual and reverse the machine.
A line of ink is visible on the plate roll and the squeezing roller, which should be 4 mm wide.
If there is any discrepancy, the adjustment of the ink roller must be corrected.
Adjustment criteria:
The ink bar must be evenly wide.
Ink bar width: 4mm
Adjusting the center of the plate relative to the plate roller
With the handwheel on the operating surface, the pressure of all the plates of a unit can be adjusted centrally.
The scale on the handwheel shows the scale of the adjustment.
For example: plate pad 0.1mm
In order for these offset rolls to be evenly closed, they must all be separated from the plate cylinder by 0.1 mm. To do this, turn the handwheel counterclockwise. Until the pointer points to the -0.1 scale position.
Swinging ink roller adjustment
The oscillating ink feed roller (No. 13) is loaded into the set bearing bush and fixed.
Required tools:
Hexagon socket head sw 6
Adjustment process:
Coarse adjustment: The machine is punctual until the movement of the oscillating roller to the squeezing roller is completely finished.
First loosen the roller screw 1 completely and then gently tighten it by hand. The oscillating roller is adjusted by rotating the screw 2 so as to evenly lean against the squeezing roller.
To this end, a number of sheets of 0.1 mm thick strips were placed between the oscillating roller and the squeezing roller.
Adjust the oscillating roller until all the strips are evenly unblocked.
Then tighten the roller screw 1;
Fine adjustment: Jog the machine until you can see the ink on the roller.
Check the ink stick width.
The adjustment can only be corrected if the machine is stationary.
Otherwise there is a danger of being hurt!
Adjustment criteria:
A 0.1 mm thick strip of paper must be pulled out unobstructed.
Ink bar width, 4mm
If the oscillating roller is adjusted too close to the squeezing roller, all the screws are released, and the oscillating roller is pushed toward the ink fountain roller to adjust the process from the beginning. It is not necessary to reset the adjusting screw.
Adjustment of the ink fountain roller relative to the swinging roller
It must always be carried out after the adjustment of the relative ink roller!
In order to access the adjustment device, the discharge tray on the printing unit must be removed. Below this, on the operating surface and the drive surface, the adjustment screw of the ink fountain roller can be seen.
Required tools:
Hexagon socket head SW10
Adjustment process:
1. Slide the handle-swinging roller to the "closed" position.
2. “Pot-point” the machine until the oscillating roller is against the inking roller. Put a 0.1mm thick strip of paper on top of it.
3. Rotate with the adjusting screw of the operating surface and the drive surface until the ink fountain roller is evenly and in parallel with the oscillating roller.
4. Adjust with ink
a) Ink fountain roller - switch position to 0.
b) The handle is set to the III position
c) “Pot-point” the machine until the oscillating roller is up.
d) Disengage the oscillating roller from the ink fountain roller by "positive point".
e) Continue to rotate the ink fountain roller slightly until the formed roller impression is visible.
f) Rotate the ± screws of the operating surface and the transmission surface with the plate head SW10 until the roller indentation is 4mm
Adjustment criteria:
The oscillating ink feed roller must be evenly and in parallel with the ink fountain roller.
Ink bar width: 4mm
The swing ink feed roller beat is automatically adjusted.
The adjustment device is located behind the door of the unit.
It can only be adjusted while the machine is stationary! !
There is danger of being hurt.
Adjustment process:
Pull out and turn the handle 3 to adjust, and the third gear is marked with a red dot.
Small point: short ink line, "slow" to the ink beat (ink feed each time). Applicable and uniform small amount of ink (area coverage to 20%).
For example, a lot of printed layouts.
Midpoint: Long ink line, giving the ink beat "slow". Suitable for most printing layouts (area coverage 20%~50%).
Big point: long ink line, "double fast" ink stroke (one ink per 3 sheets). Suitable for high ink supply.
The “big point” is a prerequisite for taking the plate scanner/COLORTRPNIC data transfer (inking every 3 sheets).
Adjustment of the transfer roller
The transfer roller (No. 11) must be adjusted relative to the inking roller (No. 10, No. 12).
Required tools:
Hexagon socket wrench SW6/SW4
Adjustment process:
Coarse adjustment: Adjust the roller by turning the screw until the 0.1 mm strip can be pulled out unobstructed.
Fine adjustment: Jog the machine until you see the ink bar. Ink bar width check!
Only check when the machine is stationary!
Risk of injury!
Adjustment criteria:
A 0.1 mm thick strip of paper must be pulled out unobstructed.
Ink bar width: 4mm.
Lateral series adjustment
The transversely driven transmission is located on the drive surface of the machine.
The adjusting device can steplessly adjust the stroke of the tandem roller in the horizontal crosstalk of 8 and 12, from 0 to 36 mm, and change the turning point.
The struting stroke of the squeezing roller No. 6 is 0 to 12 mm.
Adjustment of the series stroke
Required tools:
Wrench SW24
Adjustment process:
Jog the machine after opening the cover until the scale is at the right corner of the universal ball joint.
Loosen the lock nut.
By moving the universal ball joint handle, the specific value of the lateral stride can be adjusted by means of the scale. Then tighten the lock nut.
Adjustment of the turning point
The symbol indicates the various positions of the foldback and intermediate position associated with the length of the plate.
At the same time, the symbol area shows the distribution of the ink on the paper.
This symbol should be selected if the printing start requires more ink than the printing terminal.
Required tools:
Hexagon socket wrench SW8
Adjustment process:
Loosen the four roller screws and jog the machine.
At this point the signed disc rotates counterclockwise. Jog the machine until the desired symbol is below the arrow.
The right end of the symbol shows the start of printing.
Tighten the four roller screws again.
