Box cardboard

Also known as hemp cardboard, it is a cardboard used in relatively strong cartons. It is widely used for shipping books, department stores, radios, televisions, machine parts and food. The basis weight is 200 g/m2, 310 g/m2, 420 g/m2 and 530 g/m2. The surface is flat and mechanically strong.

Also known as coated paper, it is a high-grade printing paper made by coating a base paper with a white paint made of calcium carbonate or kaolin and a binder, and calendering after drying. Due to its fine whiteness, high smoothness and gloss, and moderate oil absorption, it is suitable for copper plate printing or offset printing, printing color or monochrome pictorials, pictures, calendars, maps and books, as well as packaging printing paper. It is divided into single-sided coating and double-sided coating. The two types are divided into special number, No. 1, No. 2 and No. 3, and the quantitative amount is from 80 g/m2 to 250 g/m2. Copper paper requires high coating strength, no powder drop, and can be used for fine mesh printing of 60 lines/cm or more.


Offset paper

Formerly known as "Dowlin Paper", it is a book paper used by offset presses. Suitable for printing monogramous or multi-colored book covers, texts, inserts, pictorials, maps, posters, color labels and various packaging items. Offset printing paper is divided into special numbers, No. 1 and No. 2, and the basis weight is from 70 g/m2 to 150 g/m2. The pulp has high strength and printability. Offset printing is a relatively advanced book printing paper, which has high requirements on contrast, stretch ratio and surface strength. Acidity and alkalinity should also be close to neutral or weakly alkaline, so as not to affect the paper for printing. The basis weight is 40 g/square. Rice to 80 g / m2. In recent years, low-quantity offset printing newsprint and offset printing papers have been successfully produced for offset printing papers and books.


Letter paper

A paper suitable for letterpress printing of various books, stationery and magazine texts. The basis weight is 52 g/m2 and 60/m2, and there are two kinds of web and flat paper, the smoothness is 30 meters, and the opacity is not less than 88%. Letterpress printing paper is a widely used book paper, which is slightly smoother than newsprint and has a long shelf life, but is prone to hair loss and is not suitable for printing books by offset printing. This type of paper is easy to write.


Grass cardboard

Also known as yellow cardboard or horse dung paper, it is a yellow cardboard for packaging. It is mainly used for the packaging of goods, the carton and book cover book cover lining. The basis weight is from 200 g/m2 to 860 g/m2. Commonly used are No. 8 420 g, No. 10 530 g, No. 12 640 g. Grass paperboard requires tight quality, flat paper surface and certain mechanical strength and toughness.


White cardboard

Also known as Manila Paper, it is a white, more advanced packaging board. It is used for printing children's educational pictures and trademarks of stationery, cosmetics and pharmaceuticals. The basis weight is from 200 g/m2 to 400 g/m2. Uniform thickness, no lint, no powder, toughness, folding is not easy to break.


Binding cardboard

Important materials for bookcase decoration, such as white cardboard, yellow cardboard box, etc., are mainly used to make hardcover book covers and envelopes. The hardcover case with cardboard as the skeleton has the advantages of firmness, beauty and long-term preservation.


Calcium paper

Appearance is close to the paper, resistant to water immersion, non-hygroscopic, non-flammable, high bursting and tear resistance, and low production cost. It is kneaded and calendered at 160 degrees, and its thickness is similar to that of the cardboard. It can also be made into thicker cardboard, which has a certain ability to absorb ink and can print clear pictures and text. It can be used to print book cards, securities, labels and color prints. It can also be used to make corrugated cardboard boxes for foods and goods that are protected from moisture and oil.


Kraft paper

It is a tough and water-resistant packaging paper. It is brownish yellow and has a wide range of uses. It is commonly used in making paper bags, envelopes, record covers, files and sandpaper. The quantitative range is from 40 g/m2 to 120 g/m2. There are differences between single-sided, double-sided and striped in web and flat paper. The main quality requirements are flexible and strong, with high bursting resistance, and can withstand large tensile forces and pressure without breaking.


Cellophane

Also known as transparent paper, it is a high-grade packaging and decorative paper that is as transparent as glass. It is used to wrap fruit, food, shirts, cigarettes, cosmetics and other commodities. The basis weight is 30 g/m2. In addition to transparent and colorless, there are many colors such as golden, peach, and green. Cellophane is non-breathable, oil and water, soft and strong, colorless, transparent and shiny. It can be protected from moisture and rust after sealing, but it will crack when it is slightly cracked. Due to its large longitudinal strength, it can cause paper ropes. Waste cellophane cannot be recycled.


Mail seal paper

It is a very thin single-sided optical writing paper with a basis weight of only 20 g/m2. It was originally used for sealing paper for stamp liners and insured letters. It is now used in cosmetics, fruit and food packaging and cigarette linings. It can be used as a candy wrapper after printing and waxing. It can also be used as a printing paper, copy paper or multi-page copy paper instead of type paper and copy paper. The quality requirements are thin and strong, the transparency is good, the tension is large, and the air permeability is small.


Chinese painting and calligraphy paper

It is a paper for writing and painting with a brush, such as Yuanshu paper, rice paper, and edging paper. Yuanshu paper is made of bamboo fiber, bark, rag, old hemp and straw and other plant fibers. After soaking, cooking, natural bleaching and grinding, it is made into pulp, which is manually copied on bamboo curtain and dried. After being affixed to the fire wall to dry, the paper is white (or yellowish), even and soft, easy to absorb ink, and does not change for a long time. Xuan paper is a paper for calligraphy and painting made from sand bark and a small amount of straw pulp. The raw rice paper is suitable for freehand drawing and calligraphy. Glossy paper

It is a single-sided paper for writing, office and promotional slogans. It can also be used for paper cartons, packaged goods, printed calendars, letterheads and invoices. It is widely used and is a commonly used tissue. It used to be called office paper or snow lotus paper. There are three types of grades, No. 1 and No. 2, and the basis weight is from 18 g/m2 to 40 g/m2. The quality requirements are even and thin, the paper surface is flat, the light sizing is easy to write, and there is certain water resistance. The colored glossy paper is also called the slogan paper, which is mainly used for writing slogans!


Typing paper

It is a thin paper for typing and rewriting, and is currently used to print documents, tickets or letterheads. There are three grades, No. 1 and No. 2, with a basis weight of 24 g/m2 to 30 g/m2, and 28 g/m2 is commonly used. It requires paper thickness not more than 0.05 mm, uniform thickness, can be typed at one time, multi-page is repeated, the paper is tough and flat, and it is not water-repellent when writing. The colored type paper is used for printing multi-line tickets or tickets.


Writing paper

It is a kind of cultural paper with a large consumption. It is suitable for forms, practice puffs, books, books, etc., for writing, sub-special number, No. 1, No. 2, No. 3 and No. 4, It is 45 g/m2 to 80 g/m2.

Quality requirements: white color, smooth on both sides, tight texture, no water when writing.


Gravure paper

Paper used to print a variety of color prints, periodicals, comic strips, catalogs, stamps and securities. Its specifications and dimensions are basically the same as newsprint, letterpress and offset paper, as well as web and flat paper. Gravure paper printing requires high smoothness and shrinkage, paper whiteness should be higher, and it has better smoothness and softness.


Cast coated paper

Also known as glass powder paper, it is an advanced coated printing paper with a particularly smooth surface. It is coated on the base paper by a second or a thick coating (20 to 39 grams on one side). When the coating is in a damp state, the coated surface is heated and dried on a highly polished chrome-plated dryer. The speed is about 100 meters or less, and the gloss is about 85. There is no need to calender. The coated paper is embossed with a patterned roll to form a cloth or chicken paper. Cast coated paper mainly prints covers, inserts and high-grade cartons, and cloth paper and chicken paper are used for printing calendars and business cards.
