After more than a month of planning work, I was co-organized by the Graphic Arts Society. On September 23rd (Saturday), the first seminar was held at the City of Kwun Tong in Hong Kong. CTP's benefits for printing
The computer directly plated out the traditional film program, saving 5%~15% of prepress materials, saving imposition labor, saving space – including black room, imposition?, film storage. First calculate the cost savings of this process. The cost of each set of film and imposition is about HK$800. Each press is 12 sets of X per day on 28 days, for a total of 12 X 28 XHK$800=HK$268,800. Is the traditional PS version of CTP technology not yet mature?
The question that participants were most concerned about during the Q&A session was: "Is it true that the traditional PS version of CTP technology is not yet mature and can only handle thicker outlets?" The answer is that this legend will be broken by Luscher's new technology. Because Luscher uses the same optical technology of the thermal CTP machine, it can achieve a resolution of 10 microns, the standard equipment is 2400dpi or 2540dpi, if it is specially made up to 4000~8000dpi.
