   The conventional preservation method after development of the PS plate is to seal the Arabic resin, but this method also has many inconveniences for short-run printing. For example, the business that our factory currently undertakes is mostly short-run, from a few hundred to a few, and many are only a few thousand. Sometimes a class (8 hours) has to be changed seven or eight times, and an average of one hour or so will be replaced with a job and a plate, often the glue on the plate is not dry, sticky, or glued. Dry, after washing the machine, it must be washed off with water.

Later, we changed a method: rinse a few pieces of developed PS plate, put them into a pool with clean tap water in the order of printing on the machine, and the water surface did not pass the plate. Use water to isolate the plate from the air to prevent the plate from oxidizing in a short period of time. In addition, in order to prevent the light from invading the printing plate, a visor is also placed over the pool. It is very convenient to use when printing, and everything is normal when printing. We have used this method to save the printed plates, and have printed 80,000 printed copies, and the effect is not bad.
