There are many types of inkjet printing materials, and the classification is not the same. Classified by material, such as plastic, fabric, metal, wood, acrylic, etc.; classified by function, such as plastic light box, inkjet material, reflective material, engraving material, display equipment, etc.

The following five kinds of inkjet panels can be said to be commonly used materials for inkjet companies.

01. KT board

The KT plate is made of polystyrene (Polystyrene) particles, which are divided into cold plates and hot plates according to different production processes. The surface needs to be laminated. The biggest difference between KT cold plate and KT hot plate is the film coating process and the plate mask itself. The cold plate is a PVC film, and the composite film process is a cold composite. The hot plate film is a PS film, and the composite process is thermal compounding. The requirements of the KT board in the inkjet industry are that there is no bubble and no deformation. The hot plate foaming is mostly caused by the short curing period and the thin skin. The cold plate foaming is mostly caused by poor coating or long direct sunlight. The hot plate is lower in price than the cold plate, mainly because the hot plate has a short production period, less material used, and a large production volume.

02. PP board

PP board is a plastic sheet made of PP resin with various functional additives through extrusion, calendering, cooling, cutting and other processes. A semi-crystalline material with a relatively high hardness and melting point. Surface stiffness and scratch resistance are good. Generally, PP is modified by adding glass fiber, metal additive or thermoplastic rubber to enhance the corresponding properties. The market is usually PP hollow board, PP plastic board, PP honeycomb board, PP cutting board and other different categories.

03. Acrylic board

Acrylic (PMMA), commonly known as plexiglass, chemical name Poly (methyl methacrylimide) polymethyl methacrylate, acrylic sheet is widely used in light boxes, signs, signs, display racks and so on. The life is longer than ordinary materials for more than three years, the light transmission is good, the required light intensity is small, energy is saved, the impact resistance is strong, it is sixteen times that of ordinary glass; the maintenance is convenient, and it can be recycled and reused. Because acrylic production is difficult and costly, there are many low-cost substitutes on the market. These substitutes are also known as "acrylic" and are actually ordinary organic boards or composite boards (also known as sandwich panels). Ordinary organic plates are cast with ordinary plexiglass cracking materials and pigments. The surface hardness is low and easy to fade. After polishing with fine sand, the polishing effect is poor. The composite board has only a thin layer of acrylic on the surface, and the middle is ABS plastic, which is easily delaminated by the expansion and contraction during use. True and false acrylic, which can be identified from the subtle chromatic aberration and polishing effect of the sheet section.

04. organic board

Organic board, also known as PS board, chemical name Polystyene polystyrene. The organic board is inferior to the acrylic sheet in high temperature resistance, light transmittance, impact resistance, weather resistance and aging resistance.

05. PVC board

The PVC board is a sheet made of PVC and having a honeycomb structure with a cross section. According to the production process, it can be divided into PVC crust foam board and PVC free foam board. PVC foam board has anti-corrosion, moisture-proof, mildew-proof, non-absorbent, drillable, sawable, planable, easy thermoforming, hot bending processing, etc., so it is widely used in furniture, cabinets, bath cabinets, display racks, Box core layer, indoor and outdoor decoration, building materials, chemical and other fields, advertising signs, printing, silk screen, inkjet, computer lettering, electronic instrument product packaging and other industries.
