Yutian Printing And Packaging Machinery Selected For The National Quality Certification Integration Pilot

Recently, the National Certification and Accreditation Administration announced the first batch of pilot projects for the integration of quality certification services with strong enterprises, robust industrial chains, and strong counties. A total of 50 pilot projects were selected, covering 24 provinces, autonomous regions, municipalities, and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps. Among them, the printing and packaging machinery industry integration pilot project in Yutian County, Tangshan City, was successfully selected.

It is understood that Yutian County, as one of the six major national bases for the printing and packaging machinery industry, has a solid foundation in the sector and significant advantages in industrial clustering. Currently, the county has 216 complete machinery manufacturing enterprises and 198 supporting enterprises, offering a wide range of products covering prepress, printing, and post-press processes with 18 series and over 120 varieties.

In recent years, Yutian County has attached great importance to enterprise quality management, fully implementing the Chief Quality Officer system, achieving 100% coverage of industrial enterprises above designated size, and reinforcing enterprises' primary responsibility for quality. Leveraging public service platforms such as the Hebei Printing Machinery Industry Technology Research Institute and the Intelligent Equipment Industry Academy, the county provides enterprises with one-stop services including standard formulation, testing and certification, and technological R&D. Additionally, the county has launched two regional brand initiatives, "Yutian Printing Machinery" and "Yuprint Excellence," using the "Yuprint Excellence" regional brand to establish a three-tier quality certification system (Green, Silver, Gold), gradually enhancing the influence of the regional brand.

"The implementation of this pilot project can not only improve the product quality of enterprises in Yutian County but also enhance the quality grading and certification mechanism, continually promoting the expansion and quality improvement of county-level industrial clusters," said Su Yadong, Section Chief of Quality Development and Safety Supervision at the Yutian County Market Supervision Administration.

Going forward, the county will take quality certification as a key approach to build an industry integration service model with "government guidance, association leadership, enterprise主体 participation, and platform support," further establish and improve work mechanisms,完善配套政策措施, focus on improving industrial quality certification standards, promoting the coordinated development of industrial and supply chains, and supporting high-quality economic development in the county. It will also organize technical training, standard promotion, and certification matchmaking services, continuously helping enterprises enhance quality management capabilities and market competitiveness.
