For the majority of farmers, dealing with straw is a "big problem". Straw burning causes air pollution, improper straw returning to the field, and the spread of pests and diseases. It is understood that Chongqing's average annual straw output exceeds 10 million tons, and straw resources are abundant. At the seminar, the guests shared their thoughts on accelerating the comprehensive green transformation of agricultural development, promoting efficient and intensive resource utilization, and low-carbon recycling of industrial models.

Specifically, the experts at the meeting suggested that new quality productivity should be used to empower the development of the straw industry and enhance the ability of scientific and technological innovation; Build a platform for the deep integration of production, education, research and application, build a whole industry chain model of "straw recycling, intensive processing, and high-value products", and solve the problems in the development of the straw industry; Pay attention to the construction of industrial standardization, establish and improve the comprehensive utilization standards of the whole process of straw, including products, production equipment, production processes, etc.; Establish a safety production responsibility system to prevent fire and other safety accidents.
