The 4th Session of the 4th Council of the 2025 Annual Meeting of Members of the Flexographic Printing Branch of the China Printing Association and the Flexographic Sustainable Development Seminar was successfully held
In order to thoroughly study and implement the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China and the plenary sessions of its 20th Central Committee, accelerate the development of new-type productive forces, and achieve technological breakthroughs and market expansion for flexographic printing in more fields in China, the 2025 Membership Conference of the 4th Session of the 4th Council of the Flexographic Printing Branch of the China Printing Technology Association and the Flexographic Printing Sustainable Development Seminar were successfully held at the Dongcheng International Hotel in Dongguan, Guangdong Province, from November 19 to 20.
This conference was hosted by the China Printing Technology Association and organized by the Flexographic Printing Branch of the China Printing Association, with co-organization by the National Intelligent and Green Flexographic Printing Laboratory of Shanghai Publishing and Printing College and Guangdong Yingke Group Co., Ltd., receiving extensive support from related units. Leaders and distinguished guests attending the meeting included Liu Xiaokai, President of the China Printing Technology Association, and Secretary-General Wen Jing; Lei Zhihua, President of Guangdong Province Printing and Reproduction Industry Association; Zhou Jianbao, Chairman of the Flexographic Printing Branch of the China Printing Association; Gu Kai, Secretary-General of Shanghai Digital Printing Association; and Yang Ailing, Vice President of Shanghai Publishing and Printing College, along with more than 230 representatives from Flexographic Printing Branch member units across the country.

Fourth Session, Fourth Expanded Chairpersons' Meeting
On the evening of November 19, the expanded meeting of the fourth session of the fourth council of the Flexographic Printing Branch of the China Printing Association was held. Zhou Jianbao, chairman of the Flexographic Printing Branch, presided over the meeting. More than 40 vice-chairmen and guest advisors discussed the agenda for the upcoming 2025 Member Conference and the fourth session of the fourth council, as well as shared and discussed industry developments in areas such as technological innovation, cost reduction and efficiency improvement, digital-flexo integration, intelligent transformation, overseas expansion, and industrial chain collaboration.

On the morning of November 20, the 2025 Member Conference and the fourth session of the fourth council of the Flexographic Printing Branch of the China Printing Association were held. Liu Xiaokai, chairman of the China Printing Technology Association, attended the meeting and delivered a speech. He pointed out that flexographic printing, as the most promising green printing method, has attracted growing attention in the printing industry due to its advantages of environmental sustainability, process flexibility, and high production efficiency. He affirmed the achievements of the Flexographic Printing Branch, one of the most influential branches of the China Printing Association, over the past year and proposed four work requirements: first, to elevate positioning, build consensus, and strengthen responsibility and accountability; second, to leverage the unique advantages of flexographic printing to promote rapid industry development; third, to enhance communication and cooperation, empowering technical innovation and application of flexographic printing; and fourth, to adhere to the purpose of serving members, continuously enhancing the branch's influence and credibility. He hopes that enterprises will accelerate the cultivation of new quality productivity, injecting new momentum into industrial transformation, upgrading, and sustainable development.

Speech by Lei Zhihua, President of the Guangdong Printing and Reproduction Industry Association. He stated that in recent years, Guangdong's printing industry has focused on the development path of 'stabilizing foreign trade, strengthening innovation, and expanding scale.' Despite a challenging market environment, the industry has moved against the trend, demonstrating strong development resilience. The industry's scale continues to expand, with the total industrial output value in 2024 surpassing 300 billion yuan. In the flexographic printing field, a number of benchmark enterprises such as Yingke Group have emerged, producing many core innovations and injecting strong Guangdong-driven momentum into the development of the national flexographic printing industry.

Zhou Jianbao, Director of the Flexographic Printing Branch of the China Printing Association, delivered the report '2025 Work Summary and 2026 Key Work Points of the Flexographic Printing Branch of the China Printing Association.' He summarized the active and effective work carried out by the branch in 2025, including fully playing its role as a bridge and link, studying, implementing, and carrying out the spirit and requirements of the China Printing Association meetings, participating in the compilation of the Blue Book '2025 China Flexographic Printing Development Report,' hosting a series of lectures and seminars, and building platforms to provide good services. He also outlined seven key work points for 2026.

Subsequently, the 2025 Flexographic Printing Development Thematic Report Conference was held, chaired by Gao Yunsheng, Vice President of the Flexographic Printing Branch of the China Printing Association and Chairman of Xi'an Aerospace Huayang Electromechanical Equipment Co., Ltd.
Yang Ailing, Vice President of Shanghai Publishing & Printing College, interpreted the '2025 China Flexographic Printing Development Report,' elaborating on the development status of flexographic printing enterprises and the application of green and intelligent technologies. The report pointed out that China's flexographic printing industry has tremendous potential. With the rapid development of new productive forces, flexography is expected to achieve technological breakthroughs and market expansion in more fields, promoting the printing industry toward a more environmentally friendly and efficient direction.

On the afternoon of the 20th, the 2025 Flexographic Printing Sustainable Development Seminar was held with the theme "Smart Printing Future, Flex Empowering Development-Opening a New Era of Flexographic Production Productivity."
