Stora Enso North Sea Plant Polyethylene Coating Production Line Formally Launched
As an all-around player in the packaging cardboard industry, Stora Enso Beihai Factory located in Guangxi, China not only has a food grade packaging cardboard production line and a bleached chemical thermal mechanical pulp production line, but also has an annual production capacity of 80000 tons of polyethylene (PE) film production line, building a full chain layout from forest to finished products.
This polyethylene (PE) laminating production line officially restarted in early June this year, using the most advanced equipment and technology in the industry, implementing the strictest product safety standards, and redefining the industry benchmark for laminated cardboard.
Efficiency and safety go hand in hand
The polyethylene (PE) laminating production line of Beihai factory adopts the ER-WE-PA laminating machine from Germany, with a maximum speed of 600 meters per minute and a maximum laminating width of 2300mm. It is equipped with flame pre-treatment and corona post-treatment devices to improve the adhesion performance between laminating and paperboard, as well as the printing performance of laminated paperboard, better adapting to different packaging application needs. The supporting automatic banner control system ensures uniform coating weight, while the paper disease online monitoring device installed captures every production detail in real time, accurately controlling the quality of each batch of coated cardboard.
Food safety has always been the cornerstone of production at the Beihai factory. The polyethylene (PE) coating production workshop maintains constant temperature and humidity to prevent pollution and ensure the purity and worry free production of polyethylene coated cardboard. The entire production line has passed FSSC22000 food safety system certification and obtained ISO9001, ISO45001, ISO14001, FSC certification ®, PEFC/CFCC ™ After multiple certifications, all polyethylene (PE) cardboard can directly come into contact with food, meeting the packaging food safety contact regulations in China, the United States, the European Union, and other places.
Multi scenario adaptation, unlocking new possibilities for packaging
Both the front and back of the cardboard can be coated with film, providing different coating weight combinations of 10-20gsm for the printing surface and 10-40gsm for the back surface. Support customization of multiple widths to meet various production needs.
