Shanghai Zidan Won Two Major Innovation Awards in The Eco-friendly Paper Industry For 2025

Recently, the '2025 Eco-friendly Paper Industry Product Innovation Award' ceremony, hosted by the Environmental Paper Industry Committee of the China Chemical Information Association, was held in Shenzhen. Shanghai Zidan Packaging Technology Company stood out with two innovative products-their scroll-style packaging won the Technology Innovation Award, and their one-piece paper handle corrugated packaging won the Commercial Value Award.

As the fourth edition since its inception, this year's selection attracted participation from multiple companies, with entries covering core areas such as paper-based materials, paper products, and coatings. For this year's judging session, 12 industry experts from across the paper, chemical, printing, brand, equipment sectors, as well as research institutions, environmental consultants, and committee management were specially invited to thoroughly evaluate the participating products based on multiple key dimensions.

Scroll-style packaging

The scroll-style packaging uses double-layer corrugated cardboard to save costs while cleverly drawing from natural tree elements and the essence of elegant Chinese painting and calligraphy. Its goal is to protect the product through the packaging while promoting the reserved characteristics of Chinese culture.

For materials, it uses double-layer corrugated cardboard, which reduces some material compared to regular corrugated paper. The unique wavy kraft paper increases contact surface and friction, while also providing a distinctive natural feel. For opening, you can fold along the crease behind the lid to create a notch for quick assembly.

One-piece paper handle corrugated packaging.

Currently, most packaging with handles on the market uses plastic handles, which require manual assembly and drive up overall packaging costs. Existing paper handle patch packaging solutions can eliminate plastic from packaging while being compatible with existing automated equipment, allowing for high production efficiency and stable quality, and also reducing material and labor costs.
