Over A Hundred Companies Have Production Values Exceeding Ten Billion; Hanchuan Is Preparing To Establish A Packaging Industry Association.

Recently, the preparatory meeting for the Hanchuan City Packaging Industry Association was successfully held. The meeting, themed 'Jointly Discuss the Establishment of the Association and Seek Industry Development Together,' brought together various forces from government and enterprises, laying a solid foundation for the establishment of the Hanchuan City Packaging Industry Association. Relevant officials from municipal departments such as the Hanchuan Municipal Committee Social Work Department, Civil Affairs Bureau, and Federation of Industry and Commerce, united front committee members from nine key towns, and heads of 30 packaging industry units proposed as directors, totaling 46 participants, attended the meeting.

At the meeting, the participating enterprises spoke one by one, discussing their ideas and thoughts on the preparatory work for establishing the association and offering suggestions for the association's founding and subsequent operational development. Relevant officials from the Hanchuan Municipal Committee's Social Work Department and the Civil Affairs Bureau provided professional guidance on the association's party-building work and registration process, clarifying the standardized requirements and work directions for the association's preparation. Key township committee members of the United Front Work Department shared information on the collection of packaging enterprise data in their jurisdictions, stating that they would fully cooperate with related work to provide strong support for the association's preparation.

During the free discussion session, participants expressed their opinions and engaged in enthusiastic discussions on core issues, including the "Articles of Association of the Packaging Industry Association (Draft)", the time and location of the association's founding meeting, and the division of preparatory work. They put forward a series of highly targeted and practical suggestions, further consolidating consensus on the association's preparation.

The meeting emphasized the need to adhere to political guidance, standardize meetings, serve the association, and strengthen innovation. Each functional department, initiating enterprise, township, and the municipal Federation of Industry and Commerce must perform their respective duties and coordinate efforts, accelerate the improvement of charter systems, recruit members with high quality, prepare the founding meeting rigorously, and plan ahead for the initial work, in order to complete various preparatory tasks to a high standard and quality.

It is reported that Hanchuan City has a complete packaging industry with a full industry chain, currently housing over 100 packaging enterprises, including 52 above designated size, with an output value projected to reach 11.32 billion yuan by 2025. By 2026, the Hanchuan Municipal Committee and Municipal Government have proposed the goal of building a 30 billion yuan packaging and printing industry cluster, included as an advantageous industry in the "3 X" industry system.

The convening of this preparatory meeting marks that the preparatory work for the Hanchuan City Packaging Industry Association has entered a key stage. After its establishment, the association will build a communication bridge between the government and enterprises as well as between enterprises, effectively integrate industry resources, standardize industry development, promote the collaborative development and cluster upgrading of Hanchuan's packaging industry, and help achieve the goal of high-quality growth in industry output value.
