Dow Flexible Packaging Symposium: Exploring Material Innovation and Circular Breakthroughs in the Flexible Packaging Industry
During CHINAPLAS 2025, Dow held a flexible packaging seminar with the theme of "All-Plastic Forward, Create a New Chapter". At the seminar, Dow shared a variety of innovative solutions for packaging materials around the sustainable development of the industry, and discussed with partners the collaborative innovation of the whole industry chain to promote the commercialization of sustainable development in the packaging industry.

"The Asia-Pacific region is a key part of Dow's global strategy and an important pillar of long-term growth in our flexible packaging business. Over the years, we have continued to increase investment in localization and optimize the capacity layout of the regional supply chain to improve production flexibility and service response speed, and better meet the increasingly diversified market demand of the packaging industry. At the same time, we are also actively working with our value chain partners to accelerate the commercialization of design and recycling solutions, and jointly promote industrial upgrading and low-carbon transformation in the Asia-Pacific region, especially in the Chinese market. Circular breakthroughs: the road to material innovation in the packaging industry
At the seminar, Dow brought breakthrough material solutions to meet the needs of flexible packaging products in terms of performance, display effect, user experience and sustainability, aiming to help brands and manufacturers meet the challenges and promote the green transformation of the packaging industry.
INNATE™ TF BOPE SERIES SOLUTIONS

Dow has developed INNATE™ TF 80 linear low-density polyethylene resin and INNATE™ TF 220 new high-density polyethylene resin for the production of biaxially oriented polyethylene (BOPE) films. The two have excellent extrusion and biaxially oriented properties, and the high-density BOPE film prepared by each other has higher stiffness and temperature resistance, so as to effectively improve the performance of subsequent printing and bag making, and has excellent toughness and optical properties.

Industry Alliance: Unleash the synergistic potential of the packaging industry
Due to the complex structure and the simultaneous use of a variety of materials, flexible packaging is difficult to recycle, and has become a problem that the market needs to overcome urgently. To promote a circular economy in the packaging industry, Dow continues to deepen its collaboration with plastic product manufacturers, brand owners and partners across the entire value chain.
As a material manufacturer, Dow also fully considers the recyclability and recyclability of different plastics from the design side, so as to promote the transformation of traditional composite plastic flexible packaging to a single material, so as to achieve high-quality reuse of plastic packaging.
In this seminar, Dow, Liby Group, Guangdong Weifu and Zhoutai Machinery jointly focused on how to improve the development of single-material flexible packaging, and deeply discussed its commercial application in multiple scenarios to build a complete closed loop of plastic recycling. During the conference, Dr. Liping Zhang, Mr. Yanyang Liang and Mr. Xiaolei Liu shared their insights on the prospects and challenges of designing recyclable.
In addition, Liby Group has successfully used 10% Dow REVOLOOP™ PCR material in the packaging of its upcoming "Flower Era" product, which helps to reduce CO2 emissions in the packaging production process.
