DIC's New Nantong Factory Grand Opening, Global Ink Giant Intensifies Efforts in The Chinese Market

On the morning of November 3rd, the opening ceremony of the new factory of DIC NanTong Pigment Co., Ltd. was held in the Nantong Development Zone. Bao Delin, Deputy Director of the Standing Committee of the Municipal People's Congress and Secretary of the District Party Working Committee, and Takashi Ikeda, President of DIC Corporation, attended the ceremony and delivered speeches. More than 300 guests, including relevant leaders and responsible colleagues from the Nantong Development Zone, senior executives of the DIC Group, and industry partners, witnessed this important moment together.

The total investment in the new DIC factory is 700 million yuan, located in the Chemical South Area of the Nantong Development Zone. Integrating research and development, production, and logistics, the factory represents an important initiative by the DIC Group to actively respond to the "Yangtze River Protection" strategy and serve the regional "spatial reconstruction" planning. The completion and commissioning of this project mark a new phase of high-quality development for this foreign-funded enterprise that has been deeply rooted in Nantong for more than 20 years.

At the opening ceremony, Baodelin, on behalf of the Party Working Committee and the Administrative Committee of Nantong Development Zone, warmly congratulated the commissioning of the new DIC factory in Nantong. Baodelin pointed out that Nantong Development Zone, as one of the first national economic and technological development zones, has always adhered to a high level of openness to the outside world, and has so far attracted thousands of foreign-funded enterprises from more than 40 countries and regions to grow together here. Currently, the development zone is fully promoting the "1223" leapfrog development action, among which the planned China-Japan (Nantong) Industrial Cooperation Demonstration Park will provide a broader development platform for numerous Japanese-funded enterprises, including DIC.
