Building new platforms for industry-education integration, implementing new grounds for nurturing talents
To deepen the integration of education and industry in the digital printing field and address the mismatch between talent supply and demand in the industry, on July 21, Shen Jun, president of the Shanghai Digital Printing Industry Association, and Li Jianhua, principal of Shanghai Publishing and Printing College, visited Shanghai Yangsheng Printing Co., Ltd., a vice-president unit of the association, for a special school-enterprise discussion. The three parties had in-depth exchanges and reached a consensus on key areas such as talent training, practical internships, and resource sharing, marking the official establishment of an enterprise internship base for the digital printing full-industry-chain school-enterprise program.

Previously, the Shanghai Digital Printing Industry Association signed an agreement with Shanghai Publishing and Printing College to jointly establish a specialized class. Leveraging the association's industry resources, they set up a school-enterprise communication platform and innovated an educational model of 'on-campus nurturing, early adaptation, and two-way selection and employment,' aiming to promote precise alignment between education, talent, and the printing industry chain.
At the exchange meeting, President Shen Jun introduced that the specialized class closely follows the printing industry's trends of digitalization, intelligence, and green transformation, focusing on cultivating compound technical talents urgently needed by enterprises. By engaging high-quality companies deeply in the education process, they effectively ease the dual difficulties of industry recruitment and student employment. Principal Li Jianhua then introduced the school's professional specialties and the training plan for the specialized class, hoping to rely on Yangsheng Printing's advanced intelligent production lines and mature production systems to provide students with a real industry training platform, honing practical skills and enhancing employability. Yang Zhixun, Chairman of Yangsheng Printing, said that the company now has over twenty graduates from specialized printing courses, and moving forward, the company will accept students from the specialized class each year for internships, assign corporate mentors, and allow students to work on real production projects, experience cutting-edge technology, and standardized processes, preparing localized, professional backup talent for the company.
After the meeting, accompanied by Chairman Yang and staff from Yangsheng Printing's marketing, IT, R&D, and HR departments, President Shen and Principal Li visited Yangsheng Printing's intelligent production base.
The establishment of this base has enriched the practical education system of the specialized class. Next, the Shanghai Digital Printing Industry Association will continue to collaborate with leading industry enterprises, expand training platforms, deepen cooperation in curriculum development, faculty exchange, and order-based training, improve the school-enterprise collaborative education mechanism, and continuously provide high-quality skilled talent for Shanghai's digital printing industry chain to support high-quality industrial transformation.
