On December 14, 2016, the Commerce Department received a note from the Deputy Secretary of State for Foreign Trade of the State Secretariat of Trade of the Ministry of Production of Argentina, informing Alfonso that it was originally produced in China and Finland in accordance with Resolution 428 of the Ministry of Industry on December 6, 2016. Coated paper (western: papel y cartón estucados; communist tax code: 4810.29.10) initiated an anti-circumvention investigation.
The note pointed out that the companies involved should submit their opinions within 30 working days after receiving the notification. The interested parties participating in the investigation should also be accompanied by a certification document certifying their eligibility for signature.
