The paste is because the ink of the non-image part of the printing plate is not scraped, and the film is contaminated on the transfer film during printing. The paste plate is made in a plane shape, and black ink is more likely to occur.

Cause of issue

(1) The abrasion of the blade causes poor grinding, which reduces the ink squeegee efficiency.

(2) The chrome plating of the plate is not good or the surface of the plate is damaged due to abrasion.

(3) The coarse particles, dirt, impurities, and the like in the ink are brought to the plate roll by the doctor blade to cause damage to the surface of the plate roll.

(4) The plate is caused by eccentricity.

(5) The affinity of the ink for the chromium layer is too large.

(6) When the slow-drying solvent is used and the scraper is close to the embossing point, the ink-air contact surface is small, in a wet state, and a paste is easily generated.

(7) The viscosity of the ink is too large to be scraped clean.

Solution

Method 1: Replace the scraper or re-grind the knife, adjust the position of the scraper, and pay attention to whether the scraper is loose due to vibration.

Method 2: The surface can be re-polished when it is rough, and rechromed when it is severe.

Method 3: Correct the eccentricity of the plate roll.

Method 4: The printing ink reduces the viscosity, increases the proportion of new ink, and controls the use of stripping ink.

Method 5: The paste plate is not too serious to wipe the plate roll with the mesh, or to the plate, the hair should pay attention to the plate, or reduce the printing speed, or increase the fast drying solvent.

Method 6: When the affinity of the chrome layer is strong, try to change the ink grade, eliminate static electricity and add less than 2% isopropyl alcohol.
