The needle is also a general term for the micropores on the surface of the screen. It can produce the drawbacks of printing sticky, local ink layer deposition and thinning. Because the photographic adhesive is uneven on the surface of the screen, the gradation printing becomes more unstable, the chromatic aberration is more obvious, and the service life of the screen is greatly reduced.
Analyzing the causes of pinholes and taking countermeasures throughout the screen-making process will be of great benefit to improving the quality of the screen.
First, the cause of pinholes
Pinholes appear on the screen after development, often caused by the following reasons:
(1) Incorrect screen degreasing treatment.
(2) Degreased residue remains before washing and is dried on the surface of the screen.
(3) Error in drying method after photographic paste coating
(4) The drying method after the photosensitive paste is applied incorrectly
(5) Put the screen together with the developed screen or the degreased screen when drying
(6) The screen version is not completely dry and exposed
(7) Dust and dirt on the film
(8) Dust on the glass of the plate machine platform
(9) Dust particles in the room air fall on the surface of the photoresist
(10) Dust in the rubber bucket
(11) The coating speed is wrong.
(12) The mixing method of latex and diazo sensitizer is incorrect.
(13) The sensitized photoresist has been left for too long
(14) The water source is not clean enough
