Printing process - co-printing

In the production process of traditional printing plants, co-printing is a commonly used way, because you can receive orders from different customers every day, apply the same paper, the same weight, the same number of colors, the same amount of printing, this kind of printing is combined into a large version, make full use of the effective printing area of the offset printing machine, form the advantages of batch and scale printing, share the printing cost together, and achieve the purpose of saving plate making and printing costs. Combined printing is generally 10-200% lower than the special printing quotation.
Laminated printing originated in Taiwan, is a combination of network and printing service model, many different customers small volume of printing combined into a large version, not only to share the cost of plate making, but also to meet the quality of commercial printing, in Taiwan this service model has become a classic of short printing.
Combination printing promotes the integration of printing industry and information networking, with a single and transparent quotation and fast and efficient printing. Generally, the printing enterprise adopts a fully automatic process, after any standard document is uploaded to the printing system, it is automatically moved into the production process, and according to the needs of customers, it is directly converted into PDF format into the automatic imposition process, and other prints are put together into a large version, and the CTP version can be printed on the machine after the direct output of the CTP version.
One of the main disadvantages of laminate printing is that laminate printing will inevitably cause the problem of color difference. If the color requirements are extremely high, it is recommended to print independently according to the traditional printing method. Another disadvantage of stamping is the slower delivery time. Due to the need for combining, sometimes it is necessary to make up enough pieces to be printed on the machine, especially for large-print products (more than 10,000 sheets), which normally takes more than 3 days to ship.
