In May and June, the South began to enter the rainy season. Due to the rain and moisture, the binding wire is prone to oxidative rust. Therefore, we propose the following suggestions, hoping to better store and use the wire for the majority of users, and avoid rust as much as possible.
Regarding the iron wire, it is necessary to specify that the surface of the wire is adhered with a galvanized layer. If the galvanized layer is too thick (of course, the thicker it is, the more difficult it is to rust), it will not meet the SGS environmental standard; but if it is too thin, it is easy. Oxidation with water molecules, causing rust. Therefore, the external environment has a certain impact on the preservation of the wire.
Regarding the storage environment of the wire, please be sure that it will only occur in areas with high humidity (more than 70%) plus high temperature (above 30 degrees Celsius) in the case of corrosion of galvanized iron.
In addition, in the rainy season, it is necessary to pay attention to the air humidity of the workshop, warehouse, and printing departments. It is recommended to measure the paper value between 8-10 by the moisture detector. Generally, the book paper has a larger moisture absorption than the powder paper, and the pH value is also higher. Pay attention to the rusting of the wire inside the binding book.
Generally speaking, in normal environment, the wire is stored (except for the oxidation chamber), and the wire is not corroded for two years. However, it should be noted that during the process of handling the wire, it is necessary to take care of the coil. The position caused the cable to not affect the production smoothly.
In summary, for the storage environment of wire and paper, it is recommended to properly control the humidity to 50% or less, and the temperature control between 10 °C and 30 °C.
