1. First expand the existing calligraphy works, scan with a scanner or digital camera and store them in your computer. Then run Photoshop CS to open the calligraphy work. When we found that the background of the paper in the work is not very beautiful, and it will affect the work behind, let's select the “Image → Adjust → Brightness / Contrast” menu command to adjust the image and increase the contrast between the background and the text. 2. Set the layer blending mode to Multiply in the Layers palette. At this point, it will be found that the original white background in the calligraphy works disappears, which will greatly reduce the workload of removing the white background.

3. If someone likes the Spring Festival of the Golden Effect, you can select the “Magic Wand” tool, set a tolerance value of the appropriate size in the property bar, click the white background of the calligraphy work, and then select the “Select → Select Similar” menu command. Select and delete all the whites in the image, then select the "Image → Adjust → Hue / Saturation" menu command, and select the "Coloring" check box in the "Hue / Saturation" dialog box to adjust the text to gold. Increase saturation and brightness to complete the gold effect production.
