Is the material of the non-woven bag eco-friendly? Is there still formaldehyde?
What is Formaldehyde? What are the dangers of formaldehyde? What does it have to do with the materials used to make non-woven fabrics?
We all know that newly renovated rooms have high levels of formaldehyde, which is a major cause of many diseases. Formaldehyde, chemical formula HCHO, also known as antaldehyde, formalin. It is a colorless gas with a special pungent odor, which has a stimulating effect on human eyes and nose. The main harm is the irritation of the skin and mucous membranes, and when formaldehyde reaches a certain concentration indoors, people feel uncomfortable. Formaldehyde concentrations greater than 0.08m3 can cause eye redness, itchy eyes, throat discomfort or pain, hoarseness, sneezing, chest tightness, wheezing, dermatitis, etc.
Non-woven fabrics, also known as non-woven fabrics, are composed of directional or random fibers, and are a new generation of environmentally friendly materials, which have the characteristics of moisture-proof, breathable, flexible, lightweight, non-combustible, easy to decompose, non-toxic and non-irritating, rich in color, low in price, and recyclable. The non-woven fabric itself is formaldehyde-free.
Non-woven fabrics on the market can be roughly divided into two types according to their composition.
One is the often said new material non-woven fabric, the raw material of this non-woven fabric is 100% polypropylene particles, which is non-toxic and odorless plastic, and it does not contain formaldehyde and any other substances.
The other is a part of the proportion of ordinary non-woven fabrics, this non-woven fabric contains a little formaldehyde, the main source of this part of formaldehyde is the recycled material with inferior printing ink, but these inferior printing inks contain formaldehyde. The amount of formaldehyde contained in ordinary non-woven bags mainly depends on the proportion of the mixed recycled material.
Therefore, as long as the non-woven bags are brand new, they do not contain formaldehyde, and the recycled materials contain some formaldehyde, and formaldehyde comes from printing ink.
