Total investment exceeds 3 billion! Yiwu Printing and Packaging Industrial Park in Zhejiang is steadily progressing
Recently, at the construction site of the Green Low-Carbon Industrial Park in Yiwu Economic Development Zone, excavators rumbled as workers busily laid water and electricity pipelines, creating a scene of bustling activity. Currently, the first phase of the Green Low-Carbon Industrial Park project in Yiwu Economic Development Zone is entering the final key stage of construction. The exterior glass has been installed, and the main structure is basically complete. At the same time, the park's second, third, and fourth phases are also progressing steadily and in an orderly manner.
The total investment in the project is 3.055 billion yuan, with a total land area of 334.15 mu and a total construction area of 910,000 square meters. It is planned to build 25 factory buildings, 4 office buildings, and 2 supporting dormitories, forming an integrated industrial system of production, office, and residence.
The park focuses on the specialty printing and packaging industry track, driving the industry's transformation from dispersed and extensive to concentrated, green, and efficient transformation.
"Yiwu's printing and packaging industry has a solid foundation, but it has long faced issues like scattered layouts, fragmented support, and a low level of greenness," said a relevant official. The project aims to create specialized, standardized, and green industrial parks, link the upstream and downstream resources of printing and packaging, improve the local industry chain ecosystem, and provide a high-quality platform for the transformation and upgrading of traditional industries.
Once the project is fully up and running, it will gather local printing and packaging companies, further strengthen the foundation for green and low-carbon development in Yiwu's manufacturing sector, and build strong momentum for the high-quality development of Yiwu's industry.
