Filling the gap in the large-scale development of the intelligent digital printing field in Shanxi Province, the Shanxi Wanjia Digital Printing Intelligent Production Project has been fully commissioned.
On May 22, the Shanxi Wanjia Digital Printing Intelligent Production Project, located in the Tanghuai Electronics and Equipment Manufacturing Park in the Shanxi Transformation and Comprehensive Reform Demonstration Zone, was fully put into operation. This project is a key provincial-level project for 2025 and has been included in the province's '14th Five-Year Plan' key projects for the digital transformation of the printing industry. Covering a total area of 18,449 square meters with a total built-up area of 24,861.81 square meters, it features 'intelligent and digital' as its core characteristics. It not only fills the gap in the large-scale development of intelligent digital printing in Shanxi Province but also injects strong momentum into the upgrading and transformation of the traditional printing industry.
Inside the production workshop, fully automated plate-making equipment operates smoothly, and high-speed digital printing devices run stably, achieving high-definition, high-speed mass output of products such as periodicals, brochures, and commemorative albums. In the post-press process, fully automated folding-gluing machines, saddle-stitching machines, and folding machines work in coordination, seamlessly handling paper transmission, cutting, and binding. Relying on a digital production system, the company has built a rapid response mechanism of '24-hour online order reception, 48-hour delivery,' realizing a fully digital closed-loop management process from order reception, intelligent scheduling, and automatic production to warehousing, distribution, and logistics tracking.
The project also establishes a diversified product system of 'publication printing, commercial printing, and customized printing,' covering periodicals and magazines, promotional brochures, deluxe gift boxes, and village and county chronicles. It can meet the diverse, one-stop procurement needs of government agencies, enterprises, schools, and cultural institutions. Of particular note, the project strictly follows green printing standards, using environmentally friendly inks, energy-saving equipment, and intelligent energy consumption control systems to achieve low emissions, low energy consumption, and low pollution during production, and actively obtains green printing certification.
As a typical case of digital transformation in Shanxi's Comprehensive Transformation and Reform Demonstration Zone, this project will center on a provincial-level digital printing central factory, radiating to drive 30,000–50,000 advertising stores and upstream and downstream related enterprises across the province, and is expected to create and stimulate more than 500 jobs. From traditional printing to intelligent manufacturing, from scale expansion to green upgrading, Shanxi Wanjia is promoting the enterprise toward a new stage of high-quality development with digitalization as the engine and innovation as the driving force, and also writing a vivid annotation for the digital, intelligent, and green transformation of Shanxi's printing industry.
During the construction of the Shanxi Wanjia Digital Printing Intelligent Production Project, relevant departments such as the Tanghuai Electronics and Equipment Manufacturing Park Service Center of the Shanxi Comprehensive Transformation and Reform Demonstration Zone and the District Administrative Approval Bureau actively provided proactive services, giving strong support in project approval, planning and construction, and factor guarantee. They helped the enterprise promptly understand policy directions, connect with support resources, and actively coordinate basic conditions such as water, electricity, roads, and park facilities, continuously optimizing the surrounding environment of the project and providing a solid guarantee for the project's construction and subsequent stable operation.
